Lakers kill Cavs, LeBron says 'Karma is a b*****'

I could've sworn I was watching the opening round of the NCAA tournament there for a second. I just knew this had to be a 1-seed pummeling an overmatched 16.

But no, it was actually two professional teams playing, with only one actually playing. The Lakers topped the Cavaliers 112-57 Tuesday. That's a 55-point margin right there. A five and then another five after it. Fifty-five points. The Cavs scored 57 points and the Lakers beat them by 55. That's got to be some kind of something .

What does the coach of a team that just lost by 55 and scored only 57 points say? I bet Byron Scott probably didn't even go to the locker room after the game. He probably just walked straight to the team bus and waited until everyone else got on.

But what does LeBron James tweet while the Cavs take the worst beating in franchise history? Something like this:

"Crazy. Karma is a b****.. Gets you every time. Its not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything!"

Maybe it was a coincidence and LeBron wasn't even aware of the Cavs-Lakers game. Maybe he was talking about something entirely different. Or maybe he really is embracing this villain thing. I bet if LeBron could've tweeted that in Comic Sans, he would've.

He told us he was taking mental notes. He heard all the noise talked about him. But it does seem a bit weird to gloat about his old team taking such a walloping, doesn't it? I mean yes, he is playing for the hottest team in basketball. The Heat are clearly awesome. But to take joy in probably the most embarrassing loss in Cavalier history? Doesn't that just seem... cruel?

But then again, LeBron has to take some kind of satisfaction out of this. He did hear a lot coming from Cleveland about his decision to leave. He heard the boos. He heard the stuff being said about his family. He read Dan Gilbert's letter. He heard the chant, saw the signs, read the tweets coming at him. He's human. He felt all of that. So in his defense, this had to feel a bit vindicating for him. He took a lot out on them when he came back and dropped 38 in Cleveland's face, but it hasn't been this bad for the Cavs yet this season.

Still, this is just petty. It's unecessary. It's salt in an amputated leg. We all know the Cavs have fallen on hard times since LeBron's departure. He doesn't really need to point it out. And evidently, he thinks it's God's wrath for all the nasty things people said. I'm pretty sure God isn't punishing the Cavs because of what happened in The Decision fallout. Though Clevelanders might feel like they're being punished for something at this point.

There have been a lot of low points for the Cavaliers since LeBron left. It started with the beatdown following The Return, then the team lost 10 straight. But this game has to be rock bottom. I don't think it gets any worse for Cleveland. This is their 11th straight loss and the 21st out of 22. And not only that, it's a 55-point destruction in which their former favorite son tweeted about karma and God hating them.

(For the Lakers though, this is the lowest amount of points allowed in franchise history, topping the 66 allowed to the Bobcats. I guess the Lakers are getting back on track.)

But I guess Cavs fans can still take this one with them: The largest margin of victory in NBA history? The Cavs over the Heat in 1991 by 68, 148-80. So there's still that, Cleveland.

Lakers kill Cavs, LeBron says 'Karma is a b*****'

So is it Karma or is it God, Lebron?  Maybe he should of went to college to learn how to play team basketball and study Philosophy so he wouldn't sound like a moron and a jackass in his "tweets".  Not to mention the fact that grown men have no business doing anything close to resembling a "tweet".

Lebron needs to just not say anything for a while. If he manages to win a ring, then he can open his mouth again.

This is what is wrong with the NBA these days.  Players are getting away with this crap and no one can do anything about it.  I wish it was 1988 all over again, then let lebron try this crap.  You want to act like a villian but basically are nothing more then a super hyped up punk.  Back in the good days of the NBA, you wanted to act this way you had to be able to stand up to the beatings you would get.  Back in the good days you acted like a punk, guys like McHale, Laimbeer, Barkley, Mahorn would let you drive the lane and put you on your ass.  Each time you came into the lane, they would drop you every single time.Today if you touch LJ you get a foul no matter what you do.  Heck if you look at him wrong the refs will call you for something.  I doubt Lebron would survive the days of the Bad Boys, Celtics, Showtime Lakers and the rest of the tough teams of the 80's.
Today's NBA is weak and pointless.  No one can play defense, no one can really play team ball and yet people think its so much fun to watch.  I will continue to wish that the NBA would get its head straight and return to let teams play hard physical defense.  Maybe this lockout will be good for it.  No NBA and no NFL...long live NHL finally

Someone answer me, why is it ok for people to hope Lebron to get injured, lose...but it's not ok for him to do it? Why is everyone saying it's classless for Lebron to say what he did, but it's ok for Cavs fans to hope he breaks a leg or his team lose to the Lakers by 55?

I know age has huge part in this Lebron is 26, most people who hate him are younger, but how can you only see Lebron as an ass and not Cavs fans and their owner? Look how Lebron was treated when he went back, he did give you 7 good years. You think that was classy? I didn't see anyone saying how low class the Cavs fans were. But one tweet by Lebron and it's all about him kicking a team when they are down, LOL.

Both Lebron, Cavs fans and that owner are classless to me. And yes this is karma because Lebron is getting treated horrible for how he acted and now Cavs fans are getting treated horrible by their team for how they acted! Enjoy your Clipper season Cav fans, LOL! How do you go from the best record in the NBA, to the worst record in the NBA in less than 12 months?

MOST of this post is pretty accurate and I agree with that most. I say most because I take exception to 1 thing. You have the nerve to call Cleveland a horrible sports city, yet you have, of all things, a CLIPPERS logo as your pic. Ironic how that works. And lets face it, none of the other LA teams do much for the city besides the Lakers.

Lakers kill Cavs, LeBron says 'Karma is a b*****'

Well that a stupid statement let's check out all the finals apperance's before Lebron that would be 0 so yes they lost to a better overall team in the spurs. Since someone didn't win a championship makes them are a jerk wow that is one of the dumbest posts I have ever seen.

You know, because the Cavs OWNED the Lakers when he was there.  Winning all those championships over the Lakers when he was there.  Oh, wait, he didn't?  So he is a jerk AND a moron.  Got it.  He's a tall Allen Iverson.  He'll be playing in Turkey in 5 years.

No one would have really cared outside of Cleveland had Lebron chosen to be more modest and low key about leaving. That's what you and it appears many others fail to realize. His TV stunt was bad enough, but it seems ever since then he's obsessed with making himself more hated. The twitter comment was uncalled for at all levels. Let Miami never win a Championship and Lebron's karma will be harsh. He'll be the laughing stock and unrespected king of the NBA.
