UPDATE: Wade returned to the game in the fourth quarter.

Dwyane Wade can jump very high. So can Dwight Howard. So when the two meet mid-air the top of their leap, the results are explosive.

The fall looks pretty bad as Wade lands hard on his tailbone/lower back area. He stayed in the game to shoot two free throws but walked uncomfortably to the locker room immediately after. He doesn't appear to be injured, but will surely wake up tomorrow in a bit of pain.

The foul clearly wasn't dirty or anything from Howard, but just a center protecting the pain. Howard went for the ball entirely. But when two guys are both in the air like that, the guy that's 6-10, 260 pounds and made of stone often wins.

The official word is that Wade has a "lower back contusion" and no X-rays were needed. His return is questionable.
