LOS ANGELES -- For the most part, the Rookie Challenge was what we expected. The worst defense in the history of everything, lots of dunking, some dumb turnovers and mostly, boring.

But this John Wall bounce pass alley-oop to Blake Griffin made it all worth it. Oh my goodness, did it make it all worth it.

Wall-Griffin

Two of the more talented players to ever entire the NBA......add Cousins to that last as well, before it's all said and done (and assuming he can keep his head straight) Cousins will be a fixture on All Star weekend.......what did have like 33 and 14 yesterday ??

But as much as I love my two UK boys, Griffin is a once-in-a-generation physical talent. I have never seen an human that big and that strong jump that high......he is an absolute freak of nature. I though Lebron was gifted athletically (and he is; ridiculously so), but Griffin is in another league......at least when it comes to power-dunking.......

Now it makes sense - the only thing Kentucky needed last year to win the NCAA was Blake Griffin.
