An Atlanta nightclub has dropped LeBron James from a lawsuit alleging he broke a commitment to appear at a party later this month, the AP reports.

The Opera nightclub says "the matter has been resolved," and it actually was "misled" by someone who was not authorized to act on James' behalf.

The suit was filed Monday at Atlanta's Fulton County Superior Court,
saying James canceled an appearance for March 17 which he was supposed to be paid $25,000. The suit also names the owners of the rival Gold Room nightclub.

Court papers say a representative for James accepted $15,500 in advance payments from Opera, then notified the club that James would appear at the Gold Room.

Well aren't we all glad this has been cleared up? Now we can get back to the important things about the Heat, like whether or not they were crying after a basketball game.
