Carlos Boozer injured his ankle last Wednesday against the Bobcats and has missed the Bulls last two games. But he's looking to return to action this week and is hoping for Thursday against the Nets.
"It's much better," Boozer told the Chicago Sun-Times . "It's still not 100 percent; I'm walking slow. But we're rehabbing it all day long.
"That's a good guess," Boozer said of returning Thursday.
Without him, the Bulls have gone 2-0 with wins over Atlanta and Utah. Super veteran Kurt Thomas has filled in extremely well for Boozer, but he's had a lot of practice at it so far this year as this isn't the first time Boozer has missed. I kind of thing Derrick Rose might be asking his main guys to get hurt a game or two at a time just so he can strengthen that MVP resume a bit more.
