Not that it matters, because Derrick Rose was playing regardless what it said, but the X-rays on his tweaked left ankle came back negative.

No MRI is planned. Officially, he's listed as day-to-day. It was also reported that there was no swelling in Rose's ankle and he practiced without a hitch today.

Rose tweaked his previously sprained ankle in the last five seconds of Monday's Game 1 loss to the Hawks when he stepped on Jamal Crawford'd foot. Just an unlucky play at about the worst possible time. Not only did the Bulls lose, but as the final seconds ticked off, Rose was sent limping off the court. Double ouch.

He'll play in Game 2, no doubt. But don't think this is insignificant. Once you sprain an ankle, the ligaments loosen up and the structure is weakened. So the chances of re-tweaking or re-rolling it are always good. Rose was mostly healthy in Game 1, but struggled shooting the ball going 11-27 for 24 points. We'll just have to wait and see his effectiveness in the next one.

Game 2 versus the Hawks is Wednesday.

Sorry I do not have everyones names memorized.  I watched him when he was good for Kansas.  Never knew he played for Chicago, or Atlanta for that matter until the playoffs started.  Sorry not23, but I do not have the time to watch a lot of pointless games during the season.  I would watch womens water polo before every game of an NBA Season, or MLB Season, or MLS Season.

College sports are the only ones that are interesting during the regular season, excluding the NFL...

Go Heinrick!!!

Definitely has to be a concern...I tore all my tendons in my foot 2 years ago and it still rolls without even barely touching it...it's not that it hurts, he can play through the pain, its the stability, trust and ability to make his signature hard cuts and direction changes...If he shoots like he did last game and his ankle is loose, he could have some trouble being anything close to his regular season effectiveness

Heinrick? Try spelling names right, Hinrich(former Bull) if you want to comment on the team. Bulls in 5. Just giving fans of ATL false hope.

Bulls in five over Atlanta. Durk? Try Dirk since you didn't even try to spell Nowitzki.

While Rose may be the third best player in the NBA, the Hawks will continue to dominate the series.  They are an under-ranked, overacheiving group of studs.  Most people don't even know who the starters are on the team.  We were without Heinrick for the entire game, but you wouldn't know it.  Teague proved to be the stud he was at WF.  The bulls, while being a really good team, are not as good as their record would indicate.  Rose is there team, bottom line.  If he is out there at 80%, it is still their best bet.  He needs to be at 95% to have a shot in this series and 100% in the next one, regardless of their opponent.

Top Three NBA Players:

1. James
2. Bryant (As must as I dislike the guy)
3. Rose (Barely in front of Wade)
