Expert Picks: Eastern Conference Finals

The problem with the experts is they're all a bunch of 5'9" white guys who never played basketball.  They know nothing.  They might have done well in English in school, but didn't play sports.  Come on?  The experts on TNT, and I mean real basketball players like Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Chris Webber all picked the Bulls because they are a team and not a collection of superstars and scrubs.  The Bulls play better defense and run a better half court offense, which is how you win in the playoffs.  So, nice job experts thanks for making the Bulls the underdogs and taking the pressure off, not that they felt it anyway.

i can understand y they became experts.......they r just like most of us----only c the magnificence, the beauty, the wonder of gr8 individual plays by lebron who, phony wade and overrated bosh. most of the time when these player types are matched-up against lesser opponents thats when these experts c their greatness. HOWEVER,  these player types when matched-up against suffocating defenses like the bulls, they disappear and our so-called experts despite given 3 bulls samples previously were still quick 2 dismiss that those 3 bulls victories were done during the regular season.
what u say now "experts"?

Someday, people will realize that Lebron James is a freaking mental midget who disappears when the going gets tough.  He cannot shoot.  Period.  He cannot shoot.  Jordan and Kobe are the 2 best in the past 30 years and both could hit open jumpers and make clutch shots consistently.  Make Lebron and Wade into jump shooters like the Bulls did to the Hawks, and the Heat simply don't have enough shooters to beat the Bulls.  It's that simple.  The Bulls win because they play solid D and force you into jump shots, and the Heat don't have anyone who can stick with Rose.  Lebron will always be a choke because he's scared to take big shots because he knows his J is weak.  So overrated.  Chris Bosh is soft as hell.  Wade is the only thing going for Miami.  Bulls win this in 6.

Experts indeed.
I have yet to see one look past the east coast in any sport.
Except maybe the Lakers and they're at home watching the playoffs,
except Kobe he's on the phone with Pat Riley begging to let him come
to Miami!

I wonder if it's going to be a flip flop swapping of 20 point blowouts ? Because today the Bulls did what the Heat usually do to other teams (Sixers series) outrebound. The Bulls brought 5 solid starters and the bench outplayed the Heat's. I really don't think the Heat get past the Celtics if Boston doesn't make the trade they did. But by the same token, that team/lineup doesn't match well vs the Bulls. So they took the chance hopng to still be able to beat the Heat and then get a crack at the Bulls. Anyway, that's done, it's the Bulls vs Heat and the Heat didn't get the benefit of the Bulls dealing a key player that was a key to the game plans the Celtics use to beat the Heat. I'm going against the Heat for a 3rd time here. As a Sixers fan, that was obvious why. Took the Celtics because I still thought they could pound it low and in the paint on the Heat. The Bulls simply outrebounded the Heat in that regard, it led to sloppy turnovers too for the Heat trying to beat the Bulls down the court. Noah is a tenacious competitor, and I know there were many that thought he didn't have what it took to make it in the NBA for very long. He's not flashy, but he brings that anger and energy, the determination. His game today, 9 pts, 14 rebounds & 4 assists. That was his season average pretty much 11.5 ppg, 11 rebounds & 2.5 assists. The differential in assists made up for the 2.5 ppg and he had more rebounds.

Good game 1 for the Bulls, but I agree with the experts. Lebron and Wade will return to form in game 2 and Spoelstra hopefully has sense enough to abandon the small lineup and play Haslem. They got destroyed on the boards. Wade and James will both score over 10 points more than what they did tonight, they'll also have better floor games. Bosh will come down to earth but that doesn't matter this Heat team goes as Wade and James go. They got the bad game out of their system lets see how they respond. Last series Lebron responded with 35, we can probably look forward to more of the same. Heat in 6.

Expert Picks: Eastern Conference Finals

The experts aren't really experts, it's all an educated guess at the end of the day.  These experts can't think for themselves so they go with what most other "experts" are saying, that Miami wins it.  Just sad that not one has the guts to actually go against the flow.  Bulls in 5; only because they have one bad game and Miami wins a close one. Go Bulls!
