Barkley and Wade not getting along right now

By all appearances, Dwyane Wade and Charles Barkley are friends. I say that mainly because they do commercials together, so I may be wrong, but I doubt it.

Anyway, after the Heat's big Game 2 win, evidently Barkley and Wade had a moment of not getting along. Kelly Dwyer of Yahoo! Sports tweeted that Wade told Barkley, "I'm not talking to you right now man" and Barkley responded, "What I do this time?" Dwyer assumed they were joking, but that doesn't appear so.

Via the Miami Herald, Barkley upset Wade with some comments he made on Chicago radio this week.
TNT analyst and Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley caused a stir Tuesday when he referred to the Heat as a “whiny bunch” on a Chicago radio station. Wade shot back Wednesday, referring to Barkley’s comments as “bandwagon” opinions.

“We don’t care what people have to say about us,” Wade said. “We’re coming out to win the game. And we understand what the word bandwagon means.”

I'm actually not sure that's the totally correct use of "bandwagon" but I'll allow it because I know what you meant. Are the Heat whiny? Well, Chris Bosh is on the roster... but I can't really say. No more whiny to me than any other team. The Heat do play the "woe is us, the media hates us" card more than any other team though. Maybe that's what this was in reference to.

Wade continued on and said, "When I was a kid, they called me whiny all the time because I cried a lot. That’s fine. I’m done addressing what Charles has to say.”

Barkley, who is never shy about his opinions, probably isn't done saying things either. Fair trade I guess.

Dwayne Wade (Yes, I prefer to spell his name correctly even if he doesn't) seems to be the whiny one. If a Hall of Fame guy wants to talk then so be it. Last I checked Wade was not in the Hall of Fame.

So Wade is whining about people talking about him whining? Too funny.

More importantly, is it really spelled 'whiny'? I always thought it was 'whiney'. Surprised

Maybe everyone that has anything to do with the league should realize that pretty much every top teir player whines after just about every play that doesn't go their way. They have been brought into a league which, for the most part, punishes tough defensive play and rewards a player for running into the D. This is how it's been called for a while and the whining is a product of being used to getting every call. Maybe instead of criticizing the NBA players who have been playing this way for years, they should criticize the way NBA officials call games in a way that spoon feeds the best players and punishes the guys who try to stop them. If I was Wade or Lebron I'd complain too. Every call they whine about, they have gotten in other games...they wouldn't be whining if they if they weren't expecting to get the call in the first place.

The heat and especially wade and james are cry babies. If they miss a shot, then they were fouled. You see them jawing at the refs after every play. Everyone does hate the heat cause of the recruitment of 3 superstars at one time in their prime. I didn't have an issue with the celtics big 3 cause I thought they were all old and didn't it wasn't turned into a media spectacle. You never saw Kobe and Jordan switch teams because they couldn't win a championship on their team. Hope they never win anything.

Come on now, its obvious the national media is openly routing against the Heat.  I've never heard such bias as Reggie Miller and Steve Kerr.  They are horrendous.  Barkley has been against the Heat from the get go so anything he say's at this point is meaningless.  Barkley is a straight up liar.  He picked the Celtics in 6 on TNT, then he goes on a Miami Radio show and denies he picked the Celtics and said he picked the Heat.  Everything the national media say's from Lebron and Skip Bayless, Barkley, Reggie Miller, Kerr, all of them have a clear bias but that's ok.  They all will eat crow when this is over.
