One Big Thing: It definitely feels like this series is over. That's probably because it sort of is. The way the Thunder fell on their face in Game 4 and gave away a win basically sealed their fate. Now not only do they have to try and recover from that but they have to do it on the road. Chances aren't good for them.

However, the other humiliating loss the team suffered, they bounced back from. After a Game 3 loss to Memphis where the Thunder blew a 10-point lead late, OKC bounced back and won a crucial Game 4. Their backs are to the wall even more and they're even more heartbroken now. Do they have anything left? That's the question.

The X-Factor: Mental fortitude. How do you shake the feeling this series is over? How do you stop replaying those final five minutes in your head over and over again? That's what the Thunder have to do. They're going to show people what they're made of in this game. They have every reason to just pack it up and quit. Will they? Or are they going to play with that same resiliency that got them this far?

The Adjustment: The Thunder have to figure out how to score the ball in clutch situations. This has been gone over a million times but whatever the solution is, the Thunder haven't found it. Russell Westbrook can't create everything and score on his own. Kevin Durant can't get away from Shawn Marion for open looks. When James Harden isn't on the floor, the Thunder don't know where to go for points. The Mavs defense has been really good in those circumstances but if the Thunder are close in Game 5, the question is, can they score?

The Sticking Point: I just keep coming back to whether or not this young Thunder team is ready to say they've had enough. Durant is a player that has a ton of pride. Same with Westbrook. The Mavs have a serious chokehold on the series and it's just a matter of closing out a young, rattled team at home. No problem, right?

Thing is, these Thunder aren't quitters. And the temptation for the Mavericks could be to relax and try and coast out of the Western Finals. But mess around and give this one away at home and the series will return to Oklahoma City where you can be sure the Thunder don't want to embarrass themselves again in front of their home crowd. The Mavs could play with some fire here if they don't take care of business.

Hate Boston & La, I'm a Mavs fan, but you're killing us.  Do you know when to place an "s" at the end of a word to give both nouns and verbs their plural tense?

I'm predicting Mavs will crush Thunder tonight.  Not as similarly as they closed out the Lakers, but nonetheless, it will be a route.  The Thunder just had their hearts ripped out of their chests on Monday........ I don't think there's a recovery for that.

Which is exactly why you shouldn't be acting like a full-of-yourself buttclown right now.  Let us relish in the moment.  You'll appreciate the same *when your team makes it.

Your abuse of the English language made your post impossible to read.  What in the he!! were you actually trying to say?  Dirk is a great player?  absolutely  Durant is a fine young man, and yes he often lets his emotions overflow but it is not with malice I don't believe.  3 to 1 edge in series does seem to indicate the Thunder(s) aren't going to win.  But, don't count them out from winning another game, we have already beat you once in Big D and if they are as overconfident as their fans seem to be, we just might steal the next game.  Anyway, the Mavs are a very good and experienced team and deserve to be where they are.  Bet you don't want to play the Thunder again next year in the WCF!  The Mavs will just be one year closer to social security and the Thunder have at this point a fairly large window of opportunity, it definitely isn't this year or never for us!

I won't be too hard on an 8 yr old. You really need to better understand how these conspiracy things work. If the NBA was pulling strings to help Miami, then the most they can do is have them in the finals. Why would they really care who won? The point is the Heat are in the championship and everyone will watch. If anything they would want to extend the series as long as possible. Well now, let's see how many game 7s in the NBA finals in the last 40 years.  Seven out of 40! 1974, 1978, 1984, 1988, 1994, 2005, and 2010. That's it.

Only losers blame the refs and you are already declaring yourself a loser before the series has started.

The Thunder need one more scorer, thats it.  The draft is coming up and they need to get a proven BIG XII scorer.  Im all for Tweety Carter, that guy would bring the scoring we need.  Might as well get Jacob Pullen out of K-State while were at it.  Keep our entire bench!!! no trades this off-season.  If we have to make a trade, lets do it before the trade deadline next season.  We have a all around legit team just need one or two more scorers.  We got our star, our big men, some what of a point guard, just need another player with a jumper and high 3 point %.  But forget about next year!!! Lets bring it to Dallas and make it a series again.
