DeShawn's shirt: 'LeBron, How's my Dirk taste?'

DeShawn Stevenson wears a shirt that says, "Hey LeBron! How's my dirk taste?" Posted by Ben Golliver. stevenson-shirt-small

After poking and prodding Miami Heat forward LeBron James throughout the 2011 NBA Finals, Dallas Mavericks guard DeShawn Stevenson got in one final shot following Dallas' NBA title.

The Mavericks closed out the series on Sunday night with a 105-95 win in Game 6 before taking to South Beach club LIV to celebrate with the Larry O'Brien trophy.

On Monday, the Mavericks flew home to Dallas, where Stevenson was spotted wearing a Mavericks blue and white t-shirt with lettering that read: "Hey LeBron! How's my Dirk taste?"

That slogan is an obvious reference to a Shaquille O'Neal freestyle rap. O'Neal used the line, "Hey Kobe, tell me how my a** taste" to mock his former teammate with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant.

To add a play on teammate Dirk Nowitzki's name here is incredibly inspired work from Stevenson, who may well have created a legacy for himself as "The Guy Who Got Into LeBron's Head Completely" in these 2011 NBA Finals.

The most underrated part of this shirt is that it bears the sponsorship of HDNet, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban's television station. It's almost like Cuban is personally endorsing the joke.

Yes Lebron did all those things, and guess what if he stayed with Cleveland than no one in that city would have a problem right now with that self entitled arrogance.  He came in the league calling himself "KING" and guess what Cleveland fans fed right into it and filled up his head and catered to that nonsense.  Plastered a huge billboard of him on the side of a building with all that "Witness" crap.  Lebron was always arrogant...always a showboat...always self entitled...but he was loved Cleveland.  But the minute he took his talents to South Beach suddenly that same arrogance that was there all along was now a turn off to Cleveland and they were calling him a traitor.  Oh please, Lebron was always like this, but Cleveland was so far up his azz until it was pathetic.  And now ironically they are still up his azz but in a different way

Why the Cavs won 66 and 62 games his last year, best record in the league. Both records better than what the Heat accomplished this year with supposedly better teammates. You don't think they spent all that money and didnt consult James on the players they brought in? He OK'd everyone of them. He didn't leave because he would have the best shot at a title. If he wanted to do that he could have signed with the Bulls or the Celts or Lakers. He didn't inform the Cavs of his plans until it was too late to change them, left them with role playes and a bad cap situation. So if someone chooses someone else you're not allowed to feel jilted? That's the way life works. Your argument is flawed.

PD, i believe that you're the one that needs something in your life, since you can't find anything better to do than try to rip on Cleveland and attempt to tell us what we should do and how we should feel.  Yes, we obsess over Lebron...in a sports setting.  We are not all huddled in corners sucking our thumbs and crying over this in our daily lives.  But when the NBA finals are nationaly telecast...and our former star is involved...then hell YES WE ARE ROOTING AGAINST HIM.  Don't be a tool.  You are obviously a hater and like to ty to make others feel as miserable about their lives as you feel about your own.  It's called bringing others down to your level.  It's practiced by those that don't have the ability or confidence to acheive success themselves.  Quit being a Lebron...I mean a hater. (ha, ha) Let us live our lives...and you live yours bro.  Stop worrying about what Cleveland is doing...cause they certainly aren't worried about what you're doing.

Im calling Bs. Lebron is the one calling himself the king. Lebron is the one with "choosen one" tattoed on his back (that name came from SI when he was in high school). Lebron is the one that calls hour long espn specials just to say what team he is going to sign with. He brought it on himself. He created expectations that he cant meet and he has to deal with it.

I make a few posts about something and suddenly I'm obsessing.  That's comical and pretty over the top.  Is it hard to hear any criticism about Cleveland b/c supposedly you guys are the "victims" and the "wrong party."  I'm over that now!  I don't like Lebron, but I'm tired of hearing Cleveland whine about being dumped.  Like I said before was this dumb athlete the only thing you guys had going for your city?  Please don't tell me Cleveland placed their entire hopes, dreams, and aspirations as a city on the shouldres of this arrogant dumb athelete who was fresh out of high school.  If you ask me Cleveland has no one to blame but themselves.  You created the monster that is Lebron James

Classless Punk!!! No backup scrub player should say anything! The Mavs won because of Dirk. He would never wear a shirt like that. DeShawn will be out of the league in a few years. Hey DeShawn How does my scrub career taste?

First dont be talking like you some straight up G! Cause you sound rediculous "Playa"! No ones hating on no one! As I see it, we are all entitled to our opinion! Lebron looked dumb doing his "the decision" thing, and the whole Miami Heat introduction thing last summer! Didnt he say that they were going to win not one but like "eight" championships!?! Lebron, dont get me wrong! One of the best players ever, but for some reason, he cant fully deliver when its really matters! Its like he cant handle the pressure! I know the heat will be back next year, but so will the bulls, and not to mention the Mavs!
