DeShawn's shirt: 'LeBron, How's my Dirk taste?'

DeShawn Stevenson wears a shirt that says, "Hey LeBron! How's my dirk taste?" Posted by Ben Golliver. stevenson-shirt-small

After poking and prodding Miami Heat forward LeBron James throughout the 2011 NBA Finals, Dallas Mavericks guard DeShawn Stevenson got in one final shot following Dallas' NBA title.

The Mavericks closed out the series on Sunday night with a 105-95 win in Game 6 before taking to South Beach club LIV to celebrate with the Larry O'Brien trophy.

On Monday, the Mavericks flew home to Dallas, where Stevenson was spotted wearing a Mavericks blue and white t-shirt with lettering that read: "Hey LeBron! How's my Dirk taste?"

That slogan is an obvious reference to a Shaquille O'Neal freestyle rap. O'Neal used the line, "Hey Kobe, tell me how my a** taste" to mock his former teammate with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant.

To add a play on teammate Dirk Nowitzki's name here is incredibly inspired work from Stevenson, who may well have created a legacy for himself as "The Guy Who Got Into LeBron's Head Completely" in these 2011 NBA Finals.

The most underrated part of this shirt is that it bears the sponsorship of HDNet, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban's television station. It's almost like Cuban is personally endorsing the joke.

I'm not obsessing, just stating my opinion.  Was Lebron the only thing Cleveland had going for them as a city.  If so, than gee no wonder why he left. Talk about carrying an entire city on your shoulders lol. Lebron was just a dumb athlete fresh out of high school...what did you guys want him to do...Save the City...cure cancer...stop unemployment.  He dribbled a damn ball, he was not GOD!  Cleveland has spent an entire year obsessing all their energy, time, attention, and focus on this man.  Pretty pathetic!   It's time to get a life now and start rebuilding your sorry azz team.  Come back to reality...what are you celebrating for...you didn't win anything.  Your team had the worst record in the NBA this year...the longest losing streak ever in NBA history...you didn't make the playoffs...and even tho Lebron lost in the finals he stil got way way way further than you did lol.  And again this is coming from a Lebron hater who is now tired of Cleveland doing the scorned girlfriend routine.  Move on

You don't even live here!!! Shut your mouth man! No one has really been on it and to be truthful people did pull for Big Z to get a ring! YOU KNOW NOTHING OF MY CITY, and for that you are and forever will be irrelevant.  You speak bad about us for what? becuase we support our teams? And if you really want to know Nike gave hiom the King James name, not us.  People are so igorant to things but speak as if they know everything....it's sad.

Z...no offense, but you're uninformed.  Having lived through Lebron, the early years, here in Cleveland...we know that Lebron had a say so in ALL the trades and free agent acquisitions made here during his tenure.  The talent around him...was constructed BY HIM.  So he really only has himself to blame.  I won't disagree, however, that the Cavs owner mishandled Lebron from the start.  He should not have catered to his every whim.  He spoiled Lebrat without a doubt.  But trust me...his personality...his sense of entitlement...that's a character flaw.  Jordan had everything imaginable thrown his way...but wasn't disrespectful or arrogant.  Lebron will never learn and that's a shame because his abilities are truly amazing.

I'm not obsessing, just stating my opinion.     For an entire year Cleveland has put all their time, attention, energy, and focus into Lebron James.  I mean goodness was Lebron the only thing you guys had going for your city. If so, than gee no wonder he left.  Talk about basically carrying an entire city on your shoulders lol.    You would have thought Lebron was curing cancer with the way you guys placed him on a pedestal and not just dribbling a damn ball fresh out of high school.  It's time to get a life now and start rebuilding your sorry azz team.  Concentrating on Lebron does you no good b/c at the end of the day your team is still sorry...you still had the longest losing streak ever in NBA history...you didn't make the playoffs without Lebron...and even thoug Lebron lost the Finals, he still went way further than your team did.  And again this is coming from someone who can't stand Lebron.

Cleveland laid their entire hopes and dreams as a city on this arrogant little 18 year old boy who called himself "King" before he even played in his first NBA game.  And now you're acting like scorned ex girlfriends.  Get OVER It!

I was rooting for Dallas,But let me say this the cavs owner is an idiot and the cavs fans don't know much about basketball,If the cavs fans want to be mad at someone they should be mad at the owner of the cavs,if he would have brought in some good players to help James out he probably would have stayed, how could the fans be mad for James wanting to go some where that he had the best chance to win an NBA title,Let me give you an example I'am from michigan i like all sports so I 'am a detroit lions fan and loved Barry Sanders but looking back I wish the Packers would have been smart enough to draft Barry with the #2 pic,or I wish that the lions would have traded barry to a good team 3 to 5 years before he retired so Barry could have had a shot at a championship. So for the cavs owner to steadily take shot at James when he didn't really put any good players around LeBron is idiotic,And even though LeBron left,The fans should be mad at the owner not LeBron,And anybody who thinks the cavs will win a title before Miami is smokin some bad stuff.
