Kobe Bryant apparently attended church at St. Therese at Carmel in Carmel Valley on Sunday. At one point, he apparently thought a man was snapping photos of him on his cellphone. And that's where things get hazy. From 10News in San Diego:
Sources told 10News Bryant was attending a church service at St. Therese of Carmel in Carmel Valley Sunday and thought someone was taking pictures of him with a cellphone.

According to police, Bryant took the phone from the man, did not see any pictures and then left the church.

The man claims he injured his wrist in the incident and had to go to the hospital for treatment.

Already, the claims of the man just looking for money are out there, but the police being involved is a little bit higher of a concern, as is the fact that sources beyond the injured man are cited in the report. This could very well be the last we hear of the incident if police conclude there's nothing to it. If it does continue though, it could be a headache for Bryant.

Because, you know, he really hasn't had enough trouble in the past fourteen years.

Here's a question. Doesn't Bryant have protection, in terms of bodyguards? Wouldn't they be the best to take care of this situation? Is there a reason Bryant himself is confronting anyone, if the allegations are true?

Well, it's Kobe. So that means the comments should alternate with premature defense and attacks on his character over an uncomfirmed incident.

As much as I absolutely DESPISE Kobe and everything he stands for *cough* RAPE *cough*, this gold digging ass-hat should not be given a dime.

If he was taking my picture, without my consent, I would be very very curious as to why as well, and without a doubt, would physically look into why and or what....oh, and the only reason he wouldn't bother sueing any of us in this exact situation is $$$$$$$$...or lack thereof.

Just another case of a gold digger and his ambulance chasing attorney's trying to take advantage of a situation...or lack thereof in this case.

Not exactly newsworthy.  But Kobe can't afford to have his picture taken in church.  It would ruin his image - people would accuse him of being soft.  That wouldn't do in the NtBA (National thugBall Association).  LOL  Oh, and I wonder if Nowitzki or LeBron go to church.  I haven't seen any photos going around.

Ok. Let's play a  game called "rate the douche" Who is the biggest from among this list of fine candidates:

Kobe? Lebron? James Harrison? Carlos Zambrano? Roethlisberger? T.O? Ray Lewis? Deion Sanders? Michael Irvin?

Jorge Posada, BJ Upton or Tiger Woods? I'm sure I've left off a couple beauties--and for that my apologies.

@Dogfight

@Ebonyrod2 Just to give you a little more to chew on while you get your "truth" together, from April of 2009 through February 2010, there has been 18 shootings at churches across the us.

Don't take this the wrong way, I truely believe in the abolishment of any radical violent Muslims threatening our sovereignty, but ignorant and foolish statements like you've made are embarrassing and need to be called out.

Get your facts right!!!!

What in the hell are you speaking of? I mentioned nothing about Muslims, radical violence and what the hell have 18 shootings at churches have to do with a man taking a possible picture of sports celebrity. Then that celebrity take the camera to see if there were in fact pictures taken of him.

You are calling someone out for voicing an opinion, who do you think you are? You may have your opinion right or wrong. I certainly have mine right or wrong and the right to voice this opinion. I need not have your permission or approval for any opinion I have.

It matters not to me what you really think of my opinions.

Wow, im in complete shock to see how so many people are talking about how Kobe should be punished. Punished for what, Kobe took a guys phone (apparently there was a need), and now the guy is complaining of a sore wrist. So we need to involve the authorities, spend tax payer dollars, not chase as many criminals, and help remove even more of our libertties. This is a disagreement between two people, and if the world cant handle that, GET THE HELL OVER IT. Do we all have so much time on our hands we need to sue Kobe in church? Today, i say a prayer for the idiot that is claiming he got injured. Perhaps if he woulod workout as hard as Kobe, his health wouldnt be in jeopardy.

Why are so many people yapping about pictures and privacy.  If there were no pictures on the camera, then Kobe was in the wrong here, period.  Even if there were pictures, one cannot take someone's cell phone from them because you think that person took your picture.  As minor as it sounds, Kobe should be charged or cited for his actions.

It wasn't meant to be funny. I just speak  the truth. Does my comment offend you? Sorry I should've said does the truth offend you?

Offend me? No, it's just stupid, that's all. Do me a favor, provide me with the locations of these us mosque's where violence is so prevelent, bodyguards are needed please. I'd like to see where you're getting this "truth" you speak.
