The Goodman took on a group of Indianpolis stars Saturday and while it didn't possess the same hype as some of the other summer league versus league game, John Wall provided the excitement.

How's this: 41 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds, in the Goodman's 170-167 over the Indy Pro Am league. And lucky for you, there are highlights.

I agree that basketball itself did not start "in the street" and that it is a pretty bad job on the narrator to make such a comment. However, the current style of basketball probably could be attributed to street ball in a lot of respects, both positive and negative. The flashiness and athleticism rose from basketball games and courts outside of the structured institution of the sport. The brand of basketball being played in these Pro-Am types of leagues is definitely something that can call the streets it's genesis, I think we can all agree with that to an extent.

Wall is a beast though. I agree with other comments I have read that if he had a real supporting cast with a true finisher, his numbers would be through the roof. His one knock is his jumpshot, but if he had just one other star with him that wouldn't be as big of an issue. Washington needs to do better building around this guy...he is an absolute stud already.

Just Joe:  You need to open your eyes to the world.  You can't be serious.  Do you overlook that he is a point guard doing follow up dunks?  I guess you don't see that he will get a rebound on one side of the floor, beat everyone else down the floor and have an open dunk?  I guess you overlook his great passing ability?  Do you not see his maturity at such a young age?  His surrounding cast is the worst team by far in the NBA.  Give him just one decent finisher of a big man (Love, Griffin, Stoudamire, etc.) and he would be averaging 20 points/15 assists a game.  Joe, come on man!
