LeBron James will play against Lakers

There was some doubt whether the Heat would be without both Dwyane Wade and LeBron James after LeBron left Miami's shootaround Thursday morning with flu-like symptoms.

But the team announced Thursday afternoon that LeBron will indeed play against the Lakers. I mean, come on, like he was going to miss this game.

LeBron dealt with the same symptoms against the Spurs Tuesday but after getting some fluid was able to overcome it and put on a show, scoring 33 points included a 19-point outburst in the third.

So even though there's no Wade, Thursday night's game featuring the Lakers and Heat will still be must-watch basketball. LeBron versus Kobe is something you can't miss.

I agree with the rest of the comments. Even being a heat fan and rooting for James last season he really started to disappoint me and showed his true choking abilities in the finals. Suck it up you're suppose to be or use to be viewed as the second best player in the league next to Kobe.

Lakers in in a no-win situation. If the Lakers win the game, they(the idiots) will say it was because of no Wade, Lebron sick, blah, blah, blah. Lakers lose and those same idiots will just say Kobe sucs, Lakers suc. Regardless, go Lakers!

Oh, poor baby LeBron will actually play. And the Heat most likely will win, putting LeBron's record against Kobe at 10-2 -- ALL REGULAR SEASON GAMES! In that span, Kobe has been to the finals 3 times and won twice. Nough said!
