All-Star guard Dwyane Wade will not play for the Miami Heat during Saturday night's game against the Philadelphia 76ers as he continues to sit with a badly sprained ankle, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

Wade sprained the ankle during a Jan. 14 game against the Denver Nuggets and did not play in a Tuesday win over the San Antonio Spurs and a Thursday win over the Los Angeles Lakers. CBSSports.com's Royce Young took a look at the Heat's success without Wade.

Without Wade, the Heat are expected to use a committee approach, splitting minutes between starters Mario Chalmers and Shane Battier and reservers Mike Miller, James Jones and Norris Cole to supplement the efforts of All-Star forward LeBron James

Wade, 30, is averaging 19.6 points, 5.4 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.7 blocks in 35.1 minutes per game this season.

The Heat next play on Sunday against the Milwaukee Bucks.

How many years does Wade have left?  Steroid use and a tough style of play makes him look like he's on his last legs.  Trade Wade before it's too late
Let me guess - You want the Heat to trade him to New York for Carmelo so the Knicks might win a few games. NBA tests for steroids and Wade has never tested positive. I am guessing you are basing this on some gossip page with a story about Wade disgruntled ex-business partner. Read about the ex-business partner and you will find out the guy is a real jerk. He was trying to hurt Wade and would say anything to do so. Find me a reliable news source with a story about Wade testing positive for steroids.

This coming from a Knicks fan.  Obviously any Knicks fan couldn't know of a winning situation if it bit them in the a$$.  This was the same group of fans that said New York would over take Miami and Chicago for the East.  The reason for our mediocre record with Wade in the lineup was because he was playing with a bruised foot, which in basketball is pretty significant.  Retard.

Trading Wade would be a foolish move since he is the player with the "Fire".
You contradict yourself with your statement. IF they wanted to trade Wade, any injury lowers his value.
