Wade out vs. Pistons

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade participated in shootaround, before the Heat's game vs Detroit, and went through some drills, but Erik Spoelstra announced before the game he will not play. It is the sixth consecutive game Wade has missed with the injury. Not that it's hurt much, the Heat are 5-1 without Wade.

It does appear as if Wade is set to return sometime this week, however, and with the floundering Pistons not posing much of a challenge, it makes sense to sit Wade one more game.

Wade out vs. Pistons

I think it's a smart move by Erik Spoelstra. The pistons aren't playing while so far at the start of the season and as Matt Moore said their 5-1. Personal I think they should let him sit out till he's fully healed. May not have the best record because of that decesion but I have confindence we'll make the playoffs regardless if he plays or not. Save him for the playoffs when he's most needed and it matters!

Wade out vs. Pistons

Like THAT'S gonna matter...

I hope the Pistons stay in the tank and get a lottery pick this year.  Hopefully, there isn't another Darko Milicic in the draft to waste it on.  It still bleeps me off to think that the Pistons would have won at least one more NBA Championship if they had drafted Carmelo Anthony, who was the consensus second pick in that draft.  Dwayne Wade went later, so a few other teams passed on him, but there was absolutely no excuse for passing on Melo.
