New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin did it again, drawing a foul and then hitting the game-deciding free throw against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center on Saturday night.

With the game tied at 98 with less than 10 seconds remaining, the Knicks cleared out for Lin at the top, and he drove to the basket amidst a swarm of defenders, drawing the foul on Timberwolves guard Luke Ridnour with 4.9 seconds remaining.

Lin missed the first free throw, but made the second one to put New York up for good, 99-98. The Knicks went on to win, 100-98, after the Timberwolves couldn't convert on their final two offensive possessions. The win marked New York's fifth consecutive victory.

Lin finished with 20 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals on 8-for-24 shooting in 39 minutes for New York. Timberwolves rookie point guard Ricky Rubio finished with 12 points, 8 assists, 2 rebounds and 3 steals on 5-for-15 shooting in 35 minutes. The performance comes one night after Lin hung a career-high 38 points against the Los Angeles Lakers at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.

Here's the video of Knicks guard Jeremy Lin drawing a foul and hitting the game-winning free throw against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Knicks G Jeremy Lin hits game-deciding free throw

Very impressive win, because a few weeks ago, they lose this game. Even though he didn't shoot the ball well, Lin showed a lot of heart because he was dead tired, and still managed to make the plays needed to win the game. Novak was big once again. I hope that they continue to give him minutes when back at full strength. He has earned that. Let's wait till they get back, and play, but I'm sick of the talk that once Amare, and Melo come back that things are going to change. Amare is going to benefit. All those that have jumped off of his bandwagon will soon be back on. There is now a PG to run D'Antoni's offense. We saw what he did last year before the trade with Felton. MVP type numbers. I expect him to return to that form with Lin. Melo is the one that needs to buy into the system. Novak has averaged about 16 a game. Melo can still get his 20. He just needs to do it within the offense. Great to see the defense that they played in the fourth last night. They keep this energy, and intensity up along with smart team play, and they will be just fine.

Knicks G Jeremy Lin hits game-deciding free throw

Great team win for the Knicks tonight, a lot of people stepping up.  Lin clearly was exhausted by the end but still pulled out a solid game, but huge efforts from Novak, Shumpert, and Fields.  While I'm very happy that the Knicks won, I thought this was a very poorly officiated game on both sides.  I've noticed all season the refs have been pretty bad, you gotta wonder whats going on there.  Anyway, Knicks gotta work on their free throws, just atrocious from the line lately.
