From CSN New England, reportedly, Rasheed Wallace is back:
CSNNE.com has learned that the former Boston Celtic forward plans to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers.

...

"His days as a starter in this league are gone," said the source. "I think he knows that, and so do the Lakers. But think about it. Of the big men that are available, is there one that's really better? And if he's gotten himself in shape, adding him becomes a huge get for them."

The Lakers could use a better backup big that can hit from range, as Troy Murphy has severely disappointed, Jason Kapono can't get time on the floor and they lack a legitimate back up center. The question is whether Wallace has anything left in the tank. At 37 years of age, it's going to be a challenge to get back in shape, a challenge to get into the offense, a challenge to be able to play consistent minutes. This is a pretty big gamble for the Lakers, even on a minimum deal.

That said, Rasheed Wallace is back. Both teams played hard, my man, both teams played hard.

Also, can we mention that Rasheed and Ron Artest will now reportedly be on the same team? How amazing is that, given the brawl?

so the Lakers dump a still productive reigning 6th man of the year Lamar Odom and replace him with Rasheed Wallace?? WTF??? This has to be a joke. Why did they let go of Odom? money? so he would've been mad or pouting for a few days then he would've gone back to playing.  Who's next Allen Iverson? Maybe they could talk Magic into coming back for half a season. What the hell is going on in Lakerland?

Nice. Bring in a cancer cell to a team that's already having issues within their own club house. Savvy move there. I wish I was paid that much to make that choice. The Lakers would have been better off bringing back Magic Johnson in this case. Just my .02. SH

1.    Rasheed hasn't caused major disruptive problems for a team in years....only when he was young and still had a pulse.  Have you watched the NBA the last few years?
2.  No one in this decade uses the phrase "just my two cents" anymore.  And you're not important enough to sign your posts.

Ball don't lie...

Sure liked Sheed when he was in Detroit....hopefully he is still the lockeroom guy he was in Detroit. Oh by the way...the over/under on him getting his first suspension for unsportsman like fouls is 25 games.....    &

I'm thinking that coming into the season this late, Wallace will still manage to lead the NBA in technical fouls.
