If there's one common knock on spread-and-shred, pinball-score offenses, it's that they're often unable to respond to defensive adversity when they encounter it. So when Oregon put up 72 points on New Mexico last week, some people were awestruck... and others were wary that the house of cards would tumble soon.

And whaddya know, here we are in Knoxville, and No. 7 Oregon is already struggling. Tennessee took a 13-3 lead after its first three drives, and Oregon needed a touchdown on their last possession of the half to tie the score at 13.

The first possessions of the half will tell plenty about the direction this game will take. If Oregon can get on the board again, particularly with ease, the wind will likely be out of the sails of the Tennessee defense. But if the Vols regain the lead, look out: this would be a spectacular upset to cap a wild weekend.

Oregon rallies to tie Vols at the break, 13-13

If the Vols come out with the win tonight Coach Wilcox's defensive units will be 3-0 the last three years versus the Oregon Ducks. Good luck in the SEC coach wilcox and i hope your heart always beats a little bit blue!
Cant really root for or against either team here so here's just hoping for good second half.
