9:02 p.m. - Mistakes continue to plague both teams, but especially the Bearcats. Muffed punts, bad snaps, and four penalties for each team have prevented Cincinnati from scoring and NC State from running away with this thing early. 7:27 p.m. - Greetings from Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, N.C.. We'll be giving updates throughout tonight's primetime matchup between the Cincinnati Bearcats and the North Carolina State Wolfpack. The teams are on the field warming up and we are less than 20 minutes from kickoff.
MATCHUP TO WATCH: Cincinnati QB Zach Collaros against the NC State defense. - The Wolfpack defense (secondary particularly) was one of the weak points in last season's squad and Collaros is one of the most athletic quarterbacks they will face all year. Collaros ran the ball 11 times and only had 17 pass attempts in the Bearcats 40-7 slaughtering of Indiana State a week ago. His five total touchdowns on the season are evenly split between passing (3) and rushing (2). How NC State's defense contains Collaros will likely determine this game.
