Achilles.  It's the featured body part of the day here at the College Football Blog.  An achilles injury already claimed Northwestern quarterback Dan Persa in the Wildcats' upset of Iowa, and now the bug has bitten Oklahoma.  Sooners defensive tackle Adrian Taylor suffered a tear in his right achilles tendon in the second quarter, and will miss the remainder of the season.

It's terrible news for Taylor, who had just reclaimed his starting position after missing time from an ankle injury in last season's bowl game.  It was tough to see the senior go down in his final home game, especially after just returning from such a gruesome injury.  The coaching staff spoke extremely highly of Taylor after the game, and it is unfortunate to see the talented defensive lineman's career in Norman end like this.
