While Pitt and Cincinnati are currently playing in the snow, it seems that someone got a bit too carried away playing with the snow.  The Cincinnati mascot was detained by police and ejected from the stadium on Saturday, and had to be replaced.  Why?

Because he was throwing snowballs into the crowd, and when police asked him to stop, he didn't.  Something that then causes this to happen.

If that's not the greatest picture from the 2010 college football season, then i don't know what is.

Now with video!  Though be forewarned, there are some naughty words, so it's NSFW.

Um news flash it says right in the article that the cops asked him to stop before they arrested him. Do it a couple times, whatever, the cops told him to stop because it's their job. but they had no choice but to arrest him because he kept doing it.

No one likes the cops, till they need the cops.
Instead of trying to deflect the situation onto the rightful actions of the officers, why don't you focus on the actions of the person who doesn't want to listen when he's told to stop.
When the police step in and defuse a stiuation before it gets out of hand, they're seen as overreacting. If the situations turns into an all-out mallay, then they're blamed for not stopping it earlier. How about you don't do anything to bring the police into the equation, enjoy the game and then go home.

It's a good thing the mascot didn't have one of those T-shirt launchers.  One of Cincy's finest would have put a bullet in his head.

@sloppysbar

"Rumor has it that the Cincy mascot will be censured.  He will have to face all the other mascots in D-1 football, and they will tell him how bad he is, and he will return a changed mascont, although never admitting his guilt."

LOLOL.. I love it. Very funny, you made my day.

I can tell your a cop, and this is why no one likes cops, because cops arrest guys for stupid things like this. So you need to grow up.

If that was directed at me, wrong again, Skippy.  Not a cop here.  Just a grown up who's sick and tired of having to deal with morons like this kid who seem to have some massive sense of entitlement that they think excuses this crap.  This kid wasn't arrested for doing a "stupid thing".  He was arrested for refusing to knock off the ridiculous garbage.

So you really are going to argue that this putz was justified in throwing snowballs at people?  What if it were you, and you didn't feel like getting pelted with snowballs?  I'm sure you'd just whine and complain about it, but I guess that's on you.

So you need to wise up, because this same tool would have been screaming FOR the police if someone he'd thrown a snowball at had walked over and started beating his punk azz.
