We're still three months away from the 2011 college football season starting, but it's never too early to begin planning your Saturday afternoons this fall. So luckily for you, I'm here to help. CBS announced it's SEC on CBS schedule for the year, along with other games that will be broadcast on CBS, and it features the excellent SEC matchups you've come to expect from CBS.

Here's a look at what you'll be seeing this fall.

- 9/17 Florida vs. Tennessee 3:30PM, ET
- 10/1 SEC Doubleheader 3:30PM, ET and 8PM, ET
- 10/29 Florida vs. Georgia 3:30PM, ET
- 11/12 SEC Doubleheader Noon, ET and 3:30PM, ET
- 11/25 LSU vs. Arkansas 2:30PM, ET
- 12/3 SEC Championship 4PM, ET
- 12/10 Army vs. Navy 2:30PM, ET
- 12/31 Sun Bowl 2PM, ET

As for the Saturdays in between, don't worry, we aren't giving Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson and Tracy Wolfson those Saturdays off. There will be SEC games on CBS those Saturdays, but the matchups will not be announced until six to twelve days before the games. This way we can assure you'll be seeing the best SEC football on CBS every week. The same can be said of the matchups for our two doubleheaders this season.

Now all you have to do is wait three months.

2011 SEC on CBS schedule announced

You failed to mention the key match ups between those powerhouse teams the sec play each year.

Sep 1 Kentucky Vs Western Kentucky

Sep 3 Florida Atlantic Vs Florida

Sep 3 East Carolina Vs South Carolina

Sep 3 Alabama Vs Kent State

Sep 10 Georgia Vs Coastal Carolina

Sep 10 Central Michigan Vs Kentucky

Sep 19 Furman Vs Florida

Sep 24 Florida Atlantic Vs Auburn

Nov 19 Auburn Vs Samford (key match-up in the sec)

I am really surprised that you failed to mention these key match ups. Oh Perhaps they are not on CBS TV schedule they are too important therefore CBS would not schedule them, however they  will appear on the SEC broadcast network.

I can not believe you omitted these tremendous games. What a shame!!!

I can hardly wait to see these most important games the sec manage to schedule each and every year. I see that one of the might sec schools have a perennial powerhouses The Citadel and of course Furman.

I am willing to bet the sec coaches stay up late at night developing a defense to stop these mighty offensive powerhouses.

Making the Marv Albert rumors come true would also be a great announcement.

Getting rid of Tim Brando would make this the greatest announcement in the history of sports television.
