With every NCAA investigation there are different pivotal steps in the process, one of the most relevant in regards to possible punishments is the notice of allegations. According to a report on InsideCarolina.com, the NCAA has told UNC officials to expect a notice of allegations "on or around June 10" as a result from the investigation into improper benefits and academic misconduct within the football program.

The report cites sources who believe that the notice of allegations will highlight nine different infractions, mostly stemming from previous relationships with assistant coach John Blake, tutor Jennifer Wiley, and former player Chris Hawkins. The loss of scholarships and probation is expected, and some close to the program believe forfeiting wins is a possibility. It is widely assumed at this point that North Carolina will avoid the "lack of institutional control" charge.

Keep it here at the Eye on College Football for more on this story as it develops.

If you think what was going on in Columbia is bigger than your infractions then you are in for a rude awakening.  It was your scumbag player that dragged our guy down with him.  Don't get it twisted heel.  Cant wait for your team to come to Columbia and get destroyed.

Deciding who is the slickest cheater?

What does it matter who is crowned the slickest cheater of them all?  We evidently are happy just to have a few Salem witches and sacrificial lambs, pinatas to the media slaughter pit with all us good citizens ringing the arena clamoring for more blood.  Doesn't really matter whose, now does it?  "That's Entertainment," or so we are trained to think.  Not much has changed since the Coloseum in Rome was the hottest ticket in town.  Hangings or contests of skill.  Doesn't matter to us.  We just want a good seat or a big screen and something to eat and drink.  And if we can lay a bet on it, then count us giddy and all wet in our private area.  We are the fans.  We are the shallowest brains on the planet.

It is so funny how rival fans of programs under investigation have their own "version" of the truth.  Half of the stuff on these message boards that are stated as fact, are overblown accusations that are unproven.  And for all of you NC State fans out there who are more obsessed with following the UNC football investigation than paying the rent on your trailor...just keep on hating.  No matter how hard you try to seem legit, you will forever be in the shadow of UNC!

@auburnislaughin

We understand that Auburn might not cheat. Hell ask half these guys on here that have a school or program they are jumping up and down for, there program never cheat either, well until they get caught. Then the fans and posters defend their program and say things like we are not as bad as SC or Ohio State and especially SMU.

Throwing fellow sec members such as Alabama and LSU under the bus indicatiing they are the only ones in sec that cheat is not very nice.

Now you guys at Auburn might not cheat but you do pay your players handsomely, Hell it appears as if Cam got in excess of $200,000 for his season at Auburn.

What will your quarterback be getting this year?
