LSU is currently without its starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson and linebacker Josh Johns as the two have been suspended indefinitely after being arrested for their role in a fight outside a bar in Baton Rouge. According to witness reports, Jordan Jefferson allegedly kicked a man in the face during the fight, and now a report on ESPN details the injuries suffered by two of the men involved in the fracas.

Andrew Lowery is the man who was allegedly kicked in the face by Jefferson, and he suffered a facial fracture, a concussion, fractured teeth and facial and body bruises in the fight. According to the general manager of the bar where the fight took place, John Peak, Lowery also threw the first punch and had been kicked out of the bar earlier.

Lowery claims that he was merely trying to help an unknown man who was being pulled from his truck by the LSU football players. The man who was pulled from the truck suffered three fractured vertabrae in his lower back, a concussion, fractured teeth and severe cuts and bruises on his face.

What actually happened that night outside Shady's Bar we don't know yet, and it's up to the local police to piece the story together. Still, given the injuries suffered by Lowery and the man in the truck and witness reports, things aren't looking good for Jordan Jefferson at the moment. Regardless of whether or not he started the fight or was merely defending himself.

Wow, you can tell most of these people are non athletic individuals who hs never WON a fight. If someone starts a fight, then people have the right to finish it..."By Any Means Necessary!"
Yes, I agree with your theory. However it can come down to what your definition of "finish it" is.
When you've knocked him to the ground and he's not moving, is that "finished"?

Or maybe it's "finished" when you've left him with an injury he'll feel for the rest of his life.

Or maybe it's when he's dead. The ultimate "finish". No matter what, in the end you may have to pay for your actions.

You make excellent points SKREFFTY... by the way, what happened to "innocent until proven guilty", the cornerstone of the American justice system?

LSUTiger1978, you have a well thought out past and organized.  I do want to make a note on your second point.  If the kid, Lowery says he is ok yet has marks all over his body you have to realize his adrenaline has him all pumped up and the adrenaline can overcome the actual injuries.  This happens frequently in auto accidents.  Lowery also probably had alcohol in his system and alchohol masks pain.  As for his father telling him to go to the hospital this was a smart move on the part of his father to better determine the injuries as the kid had obvious marks on him.

Whatever happened to the saying "You could indict a ham sandwich with a grand jury".   If that GJ doesn't indict then we'll know the fix was in.  Those criminal charges will not be dropped if the usual course is followed by the authorities.  It's what police do, they "solve" cases and "close" files.

I'll be interested to see how this one works out.  Jefferson's attorney seemed to concede that there would be a trial in a recent radio interview.

Of course, we all know justice is not blind in this country.

I am abit amused at the self rightous indignation of those who have already found JJ and Josh Johns guilty before their day in court....I also did'nt know there was rules of engagment in a bar fight, or street fight.....I know that this guy Lowery has checkered past,he is has stalked his ex girl friend for some time,he forced his way into her Apt. he followed her to Shady's on the night in question, he was abusive to the young woman and hit her friend......he is under a restraining order......He showed his A## and was shown the door, he was mad and beligerant, then the fight started......the cops were called and everyone scattered......Lowery's father told him to go to the hospital.....
.....It might be about money......I do not know..... but I will tell you this...... I would rather have a JJ or a Josh on my side than Lowery, I think you are going to find that this little guy is a large Jerkwad.......
