No doubt there'll be plenty of inspiring 9/11 tributes across the sports universe this week, college football very much included. But the coolest one we've seen thus far comes from Arkansas, where ArkansasSports360.com has published a photo of this red-white-and-blue rendition of the Razorbacks' midfield logo:

For those of you unfamiliar with the usual Hog logo, you can get a little better idea of the tribute version looking at this horizontal rotation (maybe):

No doubt we'll get even better photos in the coming days. But we also don't think there's much doubt this is too cool not to share right now.

Excellent move, they are also asking fans at the game to wear Red, White or Blue according to what section you are in. It's really good to take time and reflect on what's really important in life and showing our pride for this great country we live in.

Man, I was just kidding.  It was one of those moments.

I think its a classy move by the university.  As a New Yorker and one who was affected very personally that day, I am proud of my country and those that are too.

is there a picture from above it?? (Pressbox?)  Looks real cool

There probably isnt because you'd need to bring someone in from outside of Arkansas to be that clever.
Aww shucks, I laughed so hard I almost fell off my tractor. Got any better jokes? The Northwest Arkansas Metroplex (aka Fayetteville and surrounding area) is only the 8th most successful financial region in the United States, with a high income, low crime, good education, low cost of living, and a ton of commerce and industry.

Good job to the Pigs.  A good reminder that while we might all root hard for "our" team(s) and spew a lot of trash towards other teams and their supporters, at the end of the day there is only one team.  Go USA and prayers and support to the survivors of the 9/11 deceased..

Excellent summation Canes!

Although it won't produce much "shock and Awe"  there may be a few "shucks" and "awwww"
