Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill announced on Sunday that he is readmitting himself to the hospital to treat ongoing seizure issues he has been suffering since his incident on Sept. 10.

Kill suffered a seizure in the fourth quarter of Minnesota's home loss to New Mexico State two weeks ago, and admitted to dealing with multiple seizure events since that scare.  He was last released from the hostpital on Sept. 15, just five days after the event.

“Coach Kill is determined to get this issue resolved,” director of athletics Joel Maturi said in an official release. “We all want what’s best for him, and his health is our first and foremost concern. I have full confidence that our football staff will get the team prepared while Jerry is away. We all want him back on the sidelines. But it’s time to find a resolution.”

According to the school, Kill suffered another seizure on Sunday morning. The Gophers' head coach is in good condition and his vital signs are reportedly "strong." There is no timetable for his dismissal from the Mayo Clinic or his return to the sideline for the team.

If I saw you in a bar, I'd hit you in your effing jaw.  Phuckface.

My toddler daughter has seizures and if a douche likes you tries to impose limits on her, I'll wipe the floor with his face. You are a punk.  Any time, any place, mother****er.  It is on.

Best wishes to Coach Kill for a complete recovery and to his players and staff, too. I'm sure he's in great hands at the Mayo Clinic, but this must be agony for everyone concerned to go through.

Harsh words I guess when a person says I'm all for the Americans with Diabilities Acts, really doesn't have a clue. The man has some health issue so why so be bitter? The next thing you'll say is I hate old people too. I guess your young and don't think things through. Coach Kill please push through this and stay strong my prayers are with you.

Coach Kill shouldn't be allowed to have a driver's license in Minnesota let alone be trusted with the lives of 80 men and a multimillion dollar budget.  I'm all for the Americans with Disabilities Act, but when are the gophers going to hire a blind offensive coordinator?  This is becoming a national spectacle, and NCAA reality show.  Any high school prospect who commits to this program is more sick than Kill.

I see what your saying i mean it has to be tuff being a Minnesota fan.Maybe they can bring back Glen Mason.Minnesota has not won a football national title since 1960,basketball national title since 1919,a baseball national title since 1964,the only thing they are good at is men and womens hockey and wrestling. So i could see where Golden Gophers fans could be tired of losing.I do think the coach and the school needs to sit down and talk about the future of the school and the coach.

Dude I'm sorry but college sports is an effing business.  Nobody pays money to see a team lose and coach seizure.  It was a bad hire.  Fix it and fire the AD.  We an all feel bad about this guy's health, but it doesn't mean that current situation is any more tolerable.  The current situation being that we have an interim head coach, a 1-3 record against cr*p teams, and head coach who just isn't capable of directing a Big Ten team physically or mentally.
