Oklahoma linebacker Londell Taylor is yet to make his way onto the football field for the Sooners this season, and odds are he won't be seeing any action in the near future either. That's what happens when you're arrested on charges of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, as Taylor was on Saturday in Norman.

According to the Tulsa World, Taylor was arrested about an hour after Oklahoma's win against Missouri on Saturday night. Taylor was involved in a car accident just east of Oklahoma's campus and left the scene before being apprehended by the police.

The arrest report says that Taylor admitted to the arresting officers that he'd been drinking and struggled with the sobriety tests before blowing a 0.14 on a breathalyzer test. Taylor was then arrested and released after posting $1,000 bond and he has a court date set for October 11th.

Oklahoma is yet to release a statement on Taylor's arrest.

Taylor was originally a member of Oklahoma's 2007 recruiting class, but spent the last four years playing baseball in the Detroit Tigers organization after being selected in the 13th round of the 2007 MLB Amateur Draft. After being released by the Tigers, he decided to give football another shot and walked on to the Sooners.

LOL your right it was a totally random. I think I worte that the day Jefferson re-joined the team, just think they were winning without him and it kinda gives the team a black eye. I see alot of posts from your fellow lsu fans calling for Jefferson's head. But your right my Bucks couldn't tear their way out of a wet paper bag. I'm on LSU's bangwagon, I said after their 2nd game they should be ranked #1.

Good luck!

The DUI Nazis are out in full force on game days so anyone who gets popped then is an idiot. This guy is so far down the depth chart it amazes me he gets to dress for games. This is what happens when your #1 or 2

Those breath machines are crap designed to ruin lives and pile up municipal money for states, who are run into the ground like this country is going. If we forget all the entitled people, who never work or ever will, and get them on some payroll haha, and pay some TAXES, like everyone else. Believe me never blow in that crap, let them get blood, it probably take 2 hours and he's SOBER then haha.

Wow! That was a random statement about LSU. Are you still bitter about LSU kicking Ohio States butt in the NC a couple of years ago? Or could it be that LSU is ranked #1 and Ohio State is not even ranked in the top 25? You decide!

He'd still be a starter if he played for LSU. LSU doesn't suspend players unless their " convicted " of a felony. Anything less is just a slap on the wrist for ol Les Miles. Jordan Jefferson was suspended until the charges were reduced to misdameanor and Miles welcomes him back with open arms and even says " he's gonna play a few snaps in each half ". The guy still assaulted another person and they see it as a parking ticket.

The reason blowing a .14 an hour after the game is possible is because if you drink a couple of beers and/or a couple of shots and then are immediately tested you will test higher then you would as time passes. It's obvious that he had been tested not long after he drank.
