There was a rather scary moment during Kansas' loss to Oklahoma on Saturday night, as center Jeremiah Hatch suffered an injury that left him on the ground immobilized for several minutes before eventually being carted off and taken to a local hospital. Thankfully, Hatch was able to return to the Kansas sideline before the game was over, and according to head coach Turner Gill, he's going to be fine.
"He’s fine. He’s now able to move all his limbs and everything," said Gill on Saturday night. "They still want to evaluate him in the next 24 hours and kind of see what happens here in the next few days. But I’m glad to see that he is OK, as far as able to move his limbs, because initially, he was not able to move anything."
On Sunday Gill reiterated that Hatch was all right, and that there's a chance he'll be able to play against Kansas State this weekend, saying he's questionable, though the team and Hatch will take it day by day.
Hatch, a senior, has started 41 games in his career at Kansas, including every game but one at center the last three seasons.
