Not one of these linebackers could hold Lavonte David's jock.

Can't believe they didn't take Ronnie Hillman into consideration. His stats are Ronnie Hillman# 13

RB ATT 287 YDS 1656 AVG 138.0 TD 19

I don't care if he plays for San Diego State...Like alot of guys say, there's no western players on the list.  That is a bunch of crap.

Alfonzo Dennard is the best cover corner in the FBS (just ask Mcnutt of Iowa and Cunningham of MSU). When Mathieu finds himself on a non-all-star team with nobody to poke the ball free once a game, you will all see that he does not actually play corner, nor can he at the next level. Overrated does not begin to describe that troll. Dumba$$ might. I wish the SEC would take a cue from its forefathers and secede, taking ESPN and Gary Danielson with it.

Most of the team is spot on. While Dre Kirkpatrick is a great DB and may be on the best-skilled corners in college football, I think there may have been other corners who had better statistical performances this year (i.e. more interceptions, deflections, tackles, etc.). As to the other Alabama and LSU reps, I have no problem. Broyles being on the team is questionable considering he missed 25 percent of his team's games. Sounds like a career award. How about Kendall Wright of Baylor, Sammy Watkins of Clemson or Patrick Edwards of Houston?

FWAA releases 2011 All-American Team

How many writers on the East Coast?  How many on the West Coast?  East Coast 23 of 25 All-Americans, West Coast 0 of 25, Northwest 2 of 25, one being a kicker.

How many conferences much less which coast have 3 of the top 5 schools in the nation? ONE! Witch coast are they on?  West!!  USC, Stanford and Oregon combined don't have ONE all-American and Alabama and LSU have 7!

Besides Boise State and Idaho (kicker), there isn't ONE guy west of the Mississippi.

Don't tell me there isn't East Coast Bias, this is absurd to extreme.  Some of the most high octane offenses are from the West Coast and can't land even 1 player on Offense but Alabama, which scored a whole 3 points in a game has 2?

Not sure the entire SEC can take all of the credit for all 10.  8 are from LSU & Alabama.

How does the voting work on this?  I am not an awards fan.  The voting is always biased...kinda like the BCS.

Ten players from the SEC, five from the Big 12, four from the Big 10, two from the ACC, and one from the Pac-12. Bring out the SEC haters....
