Miles: All LSU players academically eligible

Any fears about LSU missing key players for the national championship showdown with Alabama have been proven unfounded.

Miles announced at his Friday press conference that all members of the Tiger roster would be academically eligible for the postseason. Multiple outlets, including CBSSports.com, had reported that several players could have been in danger of missing the Alabama rematch with academic trouble.

"We have been able to determine there are no academic casualties," Miles said. "I don't think we've lost any guys in bowl prep at any school I've been at. It's a fundamental. They want to be there for the back end. It's a great incentive to do well."

The news will obviously be a huge relief to any worried Tiger fans, whose team will almost certainly need all hands on deck to fend off the challenge of the nation's No. 2 team in New Orleans Jan. 9. After opening as a one-point favorite, LSU is now a one-point underdog to the Tide according to Vegasinsider.com.

"We have been able to determine there are no academic casualties," Miles . "I don't think we've lost any guys in bowl prep at any school I've been at. It's a fundamental. They want to be there for the back end. It's a great incentive to do well."
So does this mean that no one is academically ineligible or just that they were able to cover it up so that it won't appear as if there are any students academically ineligible?

Verbalex said, inter alia, "we moved the ball on you ***holes the WHOLE GAME." So, verbalex, and all you Bambies, could you tell us how many times you had the ball in the red zone? Here, let me help you out, in case you dont remember.... ONCE, and that being for ONE PLAY as you lost yardage from the nineteen. Now, tell us how that is moving the ball, please. Oh, and I am So Sorry that you got such a horrible call on the Eric Reid interception on your gimmick play ball thrown by Maze. The refs and the entire nation outside of Alabummer Nation saw that Reid made the play. Besides, if your boy hadnt actually given up the catch to Reid, it would have simply changed the nature of the game, not necessarily the outcome. This is the reason why we laugh at you... You cannot ever admit a weakness nor can you give credit to a team that already beat you. Aren't any of you Bama fans AT ALL worried about this next game? No chance that LSU won the first game for any other reason than sheer luck or freak mistakes on Bama's part? Really? LSU 9, Alabama 6. Next time it will be worse, as your overconfidence is a huge karmic weakness.

Where's the apology from Glenn Guilbeau for slandering Lee in the first place and creating this false story?

Tigers in a walk over? That would explain why Bama is a 1 point favorite in LSU's backyard.

Tigers in a walk over.  Bama offense is all hat (Richardson) and no cattle.  Passing game?  Are you kidding?
