Teen accuses Sandusky of 2004 on-campus assault

Additional allegations of sexual assault have been made against former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky. The most recent reported incidents occurring inside the Penn State football offices in 2004 - two years after Sandusky was banned from bringing children into the building.

FoxNews.com spoke the attorney of the now-19-year old accuser, who was a 12-year old summer camper in a program run by Second Mile - Sandusky's charity aid underprivileged youth - at the time of the incident. The accuser has reportedly filed a civil suit against Sandusky, Second Mile, and Penn State.
The teen’s lawyer, Charles Schmidt, told FoxNews.com in an interview on Thursday that Sandusky lured the boy into an office seven years ago, plied him with alcohol and raped him. He said Sandusky then gave the boy Penn State football championship memorabilia, walked him outside and handed him off to a Second Mile counselor.

Schmidt said Sandusky gave the boy a football championship commemorative bottle and a hockey puck, and that both items have recently been turned over to police.

The office where the alleged rape occurred is thought to have been Sandusky’s office in Penn State’s Lasch football building, Schmidt said. He said he thought that Second Mile’s programs were run out of that building.
FoxNews.com reports that the Attorney General's office is investigating the allegations, though there was no official comment from the spokesperson. That statute of limitations for criminal charges in cases like this is 12 years after the accuser's 18th birthday.

Former Penn State athletic director Tim Curley told a grand jury that he banned Sandusky from bringing Second Mile children into the football building in 2002, after Mike McQueary said he saw the former defensive coordinator raping a boy in the showers. Joe Amendola, Sandusky's attorney, claims his client was not banned from using Penn State facilities until November 2011 - after the criminal charges were filed.

While more continues to unravel regarding this sad case in State College, interim head coach Tom Bradley is preparing his team for the TicketCity Bowl on Jan. 2. The Nittany Lions are also searching for a full-time replacement for Joe Paterno.

Defending truth? Seriously? You mean the nonstop parade of lies and distortion that gets paraded as the truth? Get the tin-foil hats out, we have a new uninformed fool trying to defend dubunked nonsense. How is perpetuating a lie helping victims. It isn't. All it does is help create more. Joe Paterno is absolutely a victim of a media witch hunt. It has been proven. He did the right thing. We know this for a fact. the AG even said it. Get over it. Tim Curley looks like he probably is a victim as well. We'll see in a couple of weeks. Schultz. Same thing. As has been demonstrated time and again, it all comes down to McQueary and we know he has told five different versions of the same story. Two of which (the ones told to Paterno, Dranov and his father) do not describe a crime. Inappropriate, disgusting and creapy yes, crime no. Can't help but notice how you failed to post the part about his certainty in seeing rape. I wonder why you did that? You know the part where he says I dont' know what I saw? This of course is a far cry from the certainty he showed during the Grand Jury. As I said before, pathetic. Any rational, logical person would see this issue for what it is. Did you happen to notice that they still don't have a victim for the 2002 incident?

You can keep going with the rampant speculation and nonsense all you want. It won't change the fact that I am right because my position is based on evidence and the facts as we know them. Yours is based on irrational emotion and cowardice because you refuse to admit that most of media's speculation has been a big fat lie.

Kinsquonk's job in going through this methodically and point-by-point is as good as anywhere I've seen.  Unforseen is simply wrong on this.

I would add a couple of more facts to lift the haze of those who would idolize Paterno so much as to treat him differently than any other imperfect human being.  There is no place for treating ANYONE as a kind of god, as some have done with Paterno.  The following are excerpts from the New York Times on 12/16/11, updated on 12/30/11:

Note that this testimony took place only two weeks ago.

Penn State’s McQueary Tells Court What He Saw.” Published
12/16/11 (again, two weeks ago...and updated two daysago!)

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A  assistant football coach testified Friday that in 2002 he saw Jerry Sandusky
sexually assaulting a young boy and that he reported it, in graphic detail, to Coach and two senior Penn State
University officials.

“I described it was extremely sexual and that some kind of intercourse was going
on,” the assistant coach, Mike McQueary, testified of the suspected assault by
Sandusky, a longtime top assistant to Paterno. “There’s no question in my mind
that I conveyed to them that I saw Jerry in the showers, and that it was severe
sexual acts, and that it was wrong and over the line.”

Paterno, McQueary said, “slumped back in his chair.” “He said: ‘Well, I’m sorry you had to see that. It’s terrible. I need to think and tell some people about what you saw, and I’ll let you know what we’ll do next.’ ”

Paterno has said that he reported McQueary’s account to the two Penn
State officials who have been charged in the case — Tim Curley, the
university’s athletic director, and Gary Schultz, the university official whose
duties included overseeing the campus police.

....

McQueary testified that he spared no details about what he saw when he later met with
Curley and Schultz. He said the men told him that they would investigate, and
they called him days later to tell him that they had ordered Sandusky not to
bring children onto the university campus. McQueary was also told that the
children’s charity founded by Sandusky was informed of the episode.

If anyone thinks Unforseen has a logical leg to stand on after all that has been said here, then that's really too bad.

A big KUDOS to everyone who has defended the truth here.   Please keep it up, whether here or elsewhere in your circle of influence.  You're helping in whatever small or not-so-small way to make it a better new year.

LOL.  You're right.  I shouldn't write stuff like that.  I should be blind like you are and feel sympathy for the mighty Joe.  Open your eyes.  It's impossible for Paterno not to have known what was going on.  He was protecting one of his best friends.  Paterno is an ignorant piece of sh*t with a God complex.  And his silence ruined childrens lives forever...many many children.

There is a certain poetic irony having someone who is agreeing with Curley, an indicted liar, questioning my honesty and integrity. But perhaps it isn't poetry at all. Perhaps it is simply that you don't understand the definition if honesty anymore than you do the definition of "fact". FACT- Curley not McQueary is an indicted liar FACT- the words "inappropriate but not criminal" appear no where in the testimonial record (tho you use the, repeatedly) FACT- while McQueary has been inconsistent in what he specifically witnessed, he has been extremely CONSISTENT in his story of being witness to inappropriate behavior between an adult and a child in a shower FACT- this story of inappropriate behavior was relayed to Paterno, who relayed it to Curley and Schultz FACT- no PSU employee, not McQueary, not Paterno not Curley, not Schultz, not Spanier....saw fit to advance allegations of a serious crime to police or to attempt to prevent other children from being raped FACT- Sandusky has been indicted based on witness testimony, Curley and Schultz have been indicted as Perjurors, Paterno lost his job....Spamier lost his job,,,,and there is likely much more to come Not a bit of the above is emotion. Every bit of it is supported in the public record. However.... The same can not be said of your emotional devotion to PSU or belief in indicted liars...or penchant to add things that aren't remotely facts. You devolve to name calling because you don't have the strength in your arguments to support the conviction to your delusions. I gave you know straw man. YOU are the one who keeps saying "inappropriate but not criminal". I asked a simple question. Give an example of behavior between an adult and a child in a shower that led to the witness to describe it as inappropriate and that the witness was distraught. That led Paterno to feel strong enough to tell his bosses.....that wasn't criminal? You're pissed because you can't. Just like you're pissed that I won't let you add facts. Just like you're pissed that I have actual facts. Guess you're just pissed. Lol

When you are willing to ask a question based on fact, not baseless assumptions or attempt to coerce me into addressing the before mention strawman, maybe you will have a point but you haven't and you don't. You are pathetic.

You wish. Like I said, the fact speak for themselves and completely back up what I have said. Period. You obviously lack the honesty and integrity to handle such a sensitive issue and your willingness to base your entire argument on baseless assumptions and moral strawman prove you lack the maturity to discuss this issue.

And you need to make sure that your willingness to cover for enablers of child rape doesn't hide some personal issues. But I appreciate you admitting I am right by your refusal to answer my questions, deal with the actual dpfacts I present and resorting to "you need counseling". Everyone who has read this know a I owned you. Good to see you know it too. :)
