Additional allegations of sexual assault have been made against former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky. The most recent reported incidents occurring inside the Penn State football offices in 2004 - two years after Sandusky was banned from bringing children into the building. spoke the attorney of the now-19-year old accuser, who was a 12-year old summer camper in a program run by Second Mile - Sandusky's charity aid underprivileged youth - at the time of the incident. The accuser has reportedly filed a civil suit against Sandusky, Second Mile, and Penn State.
The teen’s lawyer, Charles Schmidt, told in an interview on Thursday that Sandusky lured the boy into an office seven years ago, plied him with alcohol and raped him. He said Sandusky then gave the boy Penn State football championship memorabilia, walked him outside and handed him off to a Second Mile counselor.

Schmidt said Sandusky gave the boy a football championship commemorative bottle and a hockey puck, and that both items have recently been turned over to police.

The office where the alleged rape occurred is thought to have been Sandusky’s office in Penn State’s Lasch football building, Schmidt said. He said he thought that Second Mile’s programs were run out of that building. reports that the Attorney General's office is investigating the allegations, though there was no official comment from the spokesperson. That statute of limitations for criminal charges in cases like this is 12 years after the accuser's 18th birthday.

Former Penn State athletic director Tim Curley told a grand jury that he banned Sandusky from bringing Second Mile children into the football building in 2002, after Mike McQueary said he saw the former defensive coordinator raping a boy in the showers. Joe Amendola, Sandusky's attorney, claims his client was not banned from using Penn State facilities until November 2011 - after the criminal charges were filed.

While more continues to unravel regarding this sad case in State College, interim head coach Tom Bradley is preparing his team for the TicketCity Bowl on Jan. 2. The Nittany Lions are also searching for a full-time replacement for Joe Paterno.

You need counseling Kingsquonk because you are obviously unable to think clearly without emotion getting in the way of logic.

Unforeseen- you speak of the Dramov testimony as if it is somehow exculpatory. The testimony was that Drankov heard the following from McQueary "“sex sounds’’ and the shower running, and a young boy stuck his head around the corner of the stall, peering at McQueary as an adult arm reached around him and pulled him out of view.". In what universe is this behavior not criminal? How does it change the responsibility of anyone at PSU. At best it provides an argument that McQueary's story has changed and so Curley can attempt to minimize what he was told. If Curley heard the same thing Dranov heard.... Do you believe that he shouldn't have forwarded the info to the police? I'm not here to defend McQueary. He clearly doesn't seem to be much of a human being if he walked away from a kid being raped in the shower. However his stories are inconsistent not in content but in degree. The fact is he speaks consistently of inappropriate behavior. He told that to the Gramd Jury (we have the statement) To the Police (we have the statement). To Paterno (according to Joe's statements and testimony). He told that to Dranov. (according to Dranov's testimony). Consistent. Only the degree of what he saw changes. But all of a sudden when he speaks to Curley, he leaves out the inappropriate discussion that he told everyone else? That's ridiculous and not credible and is why Curley has been indicted. And yes, again, I ask what could be inappropriate but not criminal? That is Curley's problem and the rest of PSU's. It's why they ALL did something wrong morally and why covering up the moral lapse has led to Criminal charges. They had to know that the actions were potentially criminal and you have an absolute moral obligation to protect children and have those allegations investigated. You know it, I know it. They know it. The difference? Curley....prefer winning football games to protecting children. What are a few innocents against the edifice of a winning program anyway?

Teen accuses Sandusky of 2004 on-campus assault

In reading through some of the comments on this message board I am amazed at how far some of these Penn State sympathizers will go to defend their fearless leader Joe Paterno.  He became so iconic a figure at this university and in this town that many people became blind to the fact that something horrible has been going on for a long time.

How can Joe Paterno be the apparent king of Penn State and not know what was happening inside of his offices and in his locker rooms?  Jim Tressel lost his job, had his reputation tarnished, and his legacy tainted for some free tattoos and discount cars.  All things that occurred under his watch, OFF CAMPUS.  These things were happening ON the campus of Penn State Univeresity and you are trying to convince me Paterno shouldn't be held accountable? Bullshit!  Free tats and sports cars do not even compare to what was going on in State College for many years under the supposed surveillance of Paterno.

If he didn't know what was going on he is more senile than I thought, and has been for many years.  If he really is this oblivious to what is going on around him he should have been removed from his position a long time ago, because he is no condition to be in charge of so many young men.  I don't think that is the case, though I do think he is senile and should stepped down after Deandre Levy ran his ass over and broke his hip.  He has been there so long (too long) and everyone was afraid to question him because he is this mythical figure in State College.  Take off the blinders people and face it.  Joe Paterno is just as guilty as anyone for this happening under his watch and should punished as such.

I can go either way on that. I can see new kids coming forward cuz they see a payday and I can imagine gutwrenching decisions to come forward. Can't be easy for any young man to say he was raped . Even harder to suggest that you got raped by a famous 60 year old man. I'd expect more to come forward and some to never come forward. And yes some false victims may come forward too

Aw look, it's Unforseen still dodging the question of adult obligation, thus proving ped state is truly pedophile friendly.

The answer to your question is you can't. They have not released the actual text. We don't know what the question was nor do we know what the exact answer is. We have snippets of information and the information we do have leads one to two conclusions, the first is that McQueary is not credible, and two, if Dranov's testimony is correct, this whole thing is much ado about nothing and nothing more than a fabrication.

This certainly has taken a while for this boy to come forward.    You got to wonder about the long, long delay.

That's right Unforseen.  Ignore the children.  Those pesky little details just don't fit nicely into your cover-up theories - do they?  C'mon, tell the board which of the ped state officials it was that looked out for them.  I'd like to send him a letter commending him for putting a quick stop to the abuse.

@unforseen..thanks for your opinion

But can you point out ANYwhere where people can read FACTUAL statements about WHO asked McQueary the question,on record, and what his answwer is,verbatim ? I don`t want "obvious" and i don`t want "opinion" or "consensus".I`d like fact.
I see by a couple of your comments that you`re "obviously" a Penn State defender. That`s your business.I`m in no way looking for an argument with the handful of people that still make excuses for the horror story that all the people you mentioned in your rant, allowed to happen.
I AM however, interested in any site that may show any interview or results of such interview and questions to McQueary. But it has to be verbatim.I`m not interested in "obvious".I want the McQueary`s words.Verbatim.Why did he not physically intervene. Please,no more opinions or "obvious" conclusions.Facts
Thanks for your opinion on the matter, and good luck with your defence of Penn State, but that`s not what i asked for.
So,again, anybody got anything from McQueary as to why he didn`t stop a child rape....VERBATIM ?
