Ohio State doesn't list Michigan on its schedule

Were you aware that Ohio State and Michigan had a rivalry? It's true, they do.

The two schools actually aren't very big fans of each other, even though they play in the same conference and are practically neighbors. They've both tried to fix things, even resorting to neighbor's counseling at times, but it seems that no matter what the two schools try, just nothing works.

The relationship has gotten so bad as of late that the two schools won't even refer to the other by name. Heck, Ohio State won't even list Michigan on its schedule anymore.

What a shame. I thought those two kids were going to make it.

Ohio State doesn't list Michigan on its schedule

I now know that Ohio St. fans are truly passionate! I had seen an HBO show on the Michigan Ohio St. rivalry and I was surprised how fans from Ohio St. want to trash a school when they have no business doing so. All they want to talk about are athletics and nothing about the education of the school. Take a look at the rankings of the 2 schools Michigan is #28 Ohio St. is #55. By the way is your mascot dressed up as a Nut? Oh I forgot the "Brady" way of talking about "That team from Ohio" That has to just drive you guys Nuts...

Ohio State doesn't list Michigan on its schedule

It's a pretty weak schedule, but then thanks to the ridiculous BCS bowl system most all the teams is BCS conferences play pretty lame non conference schedules.  I give them credit for not having a 1-AA team but otherwise its not much to be proud of..

Sparty: go back to the MAC board

I don't know why a Sparty fan would even bother coming here, since both schools mentioned utterly outclass them.  And that is the difference between Sparty and Ohio.  Michigan fans hate both teams, but most of us have a lot of respect for Ohio.  OTOH, I don't know any Michigan fans who have an ounce of respect for Michigan State.

Michigan State allowed 14 criminals back on the football team after the Great Thanksgiving Weekend Frathouse Beatdown.  That would have been bad enough, but now Tom Izzo starts two players (one actually did it and one watched) whose sexual assault of a coed at Wonders Hall during freshman orientation was covered up by both the EL police and the Ingham County DA's office.

Anyone who googles "Wonders Hall coverup" will get a transcript of what happened, and anyone can figure out from what the players said that an assault did, indeed, occur.  Any coach who values ethics over winning would have kicked both players off of the team, but Tom Izzo would rather win.

And that's the bottom line: Misdemeanor State University gets no respect because they deserve no respect.

Ohio State doesn't list Michigan on its schedule

Sorry to burst your bubble Mr. Ninja Football but once again your Michigan arrogance proves faulty! Myabe next year Hoke can have an original thought and come up with own 'tradition"!

Hoke said Michigan is a place where he believes there are three natural rivals - Notre Dame, Michigan State and a university Hoke referred to as "that school in Ohio." From Annarbor.com 1/21/2011

Or how about these from Annarbor.com posted 11/22/2011

“Growing up in the state of Ohio, I had a lot of respect for Coach (Woody) Hayes and loved Coach Hayes,” Hoke said. “But I was not a fan of that university in Ohio because my buddies were, so I had to be different. I became a Michigan fan, fanatical about the University of Michigan.”

For the next 40 minutes of that Jan. 12 press conference, Hoke refused to say the words Ohio State, referring to the university as simply Ohio or “that university in Ohio” or “that school in Ohio.”

And here is another one...from espn 1/13/2011

"That school in Ohio and growing up in Ohio, I understand both sides of it," Hoke said.

Typical WalMart Wolverine.

Ohio State doesn't list Michigan on its schedule

Ok, if coaching is your arguement, do you really want to compare Brady Hoke against Urban Meyer?  Nice try but what I think most people, even in Michigan would take Meyer as your coach any day of the week.  I know you think Hoke is so good and why not.  You could only go up after the RichRod disaster.  Weak arguement you made.

Ohio State doesn't list Michigan on its schedule

Funny how it takes a Buckeye coach to make something of the north school, Bo was a buckeye, HOKE was a buckeye,  hmmmmm. Is there a pattern here , I think so. Has there ever been a winning coach up there from you know

Ohio State doesn't list Michigan on its schedule

Weak schedule,  Cal was 7-6 last year in the P12 but Urban Meyer will have a nice September to get his feet under him before taking a road game and some tougher schedule.  Since Minnesota and Indiana are not on the schedule we will not blast it like 2011 Virginia Tech or Mississippi St.

That would have been Youngstown State on 30 August, 2008. How quickly they forget...
