Melo to the Knicks?

Melo informed Nuggets he will not sign the deal that was on the table unless he is traded to the Knicks. He wants to a Knick. How many times have we heard that in the last decade. I think this might be one of the very few have said this with his star power anyway. How will Knicks pull this off? Ball is really in their court. Are the Nuggets not gonna trade him and get nothing. I don't think so personally. I think he is becoming more of a distraction to the Nuggets. Which the team really doesn't need right now. I'm sure Nugget fans are upset with his decision. I am as well as a Magic fan. I had hopes on the Magic getting him via trade. They have good pieces to make a trade more so than the Knicks or the Nets. Knicks will need a third team. Well at least Nuggets hope they get a third team involved to get what they want. Other than Amare their team is garbage. No offense to Felton. Knicks have exceeded expectations thus far. Knick fans should be very happy their team is finally winning basketball games. Which is a plus cuz of the famous arena they play in. Make some more history in it. Nuggets really have no choice in this. They trade him by the deadline which will be best for their team. He will only be a distraction. He may fake injuries to not play for the Nuggets if they don't. I highly doubt if they keep Melo they will win a championship anyways. I say get some value for Melo. Hope for your sake it isn't little. Hope Magic gets a scorer. Prefer a point guard that can also pass. In any case good luck to both Melo and the Nuggets. Been a good run....hope they arn't as bad as the Cavs are without their superstar. Surprised??SurprisedDon't be......STAY JEALOUS!!!Cool

Melo to the Knicks?

Bearsfan.....the only problem I have with Nuggets keeping him is the fact I'm afraid he will not be giving 100% if he doesn't get what he wants. This is becoming a distraction. Keeping Melo after the deadline would probably hurt the team more than help it. Whatever Denver decides will affect their team in the future without question.

Melo to the Knicks?

No doubt about it coach. Melo would be great for the team and fans. If they did get Melo I figure their future would be a lot brighter than it already is. Again very impressed with Knicks play.

Melo to the Knicks?

"It seems they don't believe for a second that its Knicks or nothing for Melo."  I don't believe it either.  Regardless what people may think, Melo does not hold all the cards, not with the lockout looming.  When the new CBA is agreed upon, there will be a rollback in salaries.  Melo is risking millions of dollars by limiting the Nuggets options.  This is a big game of chicken and we will see who blinks first.

Melo to the Knicks?

If what's rumored is true, it seems Melo has his mind made up. He wants to join his Oak Hill pal Amare in NYC. It doesn't matter what the Nets (or anyone else) has to offer if he won't sign an extension. How much will any team give up to rent him and hope for the best? Probably a lot less than Denver wants (or can sell to their fans.) Time will tell, but Melo would instantly elevate this team to a place they haven't been in a decade.

Melo to the Knicks?

HOWEVER...the Nets just made big trade yesterday.  They are going full throttle to get him.  It seems they don't believe for a second that its Knicks or nothing for Melo.  Melo supposedly has never said its Knicks or nothing and from reading reports, the Nets have an inside source directly from Melo's camp that he would extend his contract with the Nets.

This is all because of the impending lockout for next season.  If the Knicks can't do a trade, then they would have to wait for free agency which would be moot because of the lockout.  Melo wants his money.

Stay tuned...

Melo to the Knicks?

I'm starting to believe the Knicks might just have to part with those players indeed watching Melo against the Orlando Magic hwere he just destroyed Vince Carter inside and bulled his way around the Knicks might just have to give up Fileds,Gallinari,Curry, Randolph going to Houston along with Billy Walker and we get back Melo and Jarred Jeffries with Chandler coming off the bench as the 1st. 3or4 puts us in good shape and then they might go after Luke Ridnour we look solid NY or should I say we would look solid.
