Ravens vs Steelers divisional playoff preview

Ravens vs Steelers......Steelers vs Ravens.......how can I describe this? Intense, blood hungry, smashmouth, best rivalry in football game!! Two of the top 3 football teams in the NFL today!! They will battle in Pittsburgh on Heinz Field. I along with everyone are ready for this football game. We always are when we see that matchup coming. This will be an emotional football game for both teams. Both battling to be the absolute best. PERIOD!! That Manning/Brady rivalry doesn't thrill me as much as the football games I have saw between the Ravens and the Steelers. They've had some classics.

Going into the football game the Ravens blew out the Chiefs. I'm somewhat surprised by it and some way I'm not as well. I didn't see that me turnovers happening. The Ravens are ready to play. They looked like a whole different football team when they were at Arrowhead. I was rooting for the Chiefs and it was hard to watch. Chiefs were one of the best at not giving up the football. Obviously the reason is because they didn't face a football team like the Ravens. They looked like they were making a statement. A statement to all football teams and that is don't sleep on them. They are no pushover by any means. The game against Pittsburgh Saturday may be the best matchup yet. Both teams ended the season with identical records. Steelers won the division due to tiebreaker of division record.

Pittsburgh Steelers ended the season with a blowout win over the Cleveland Browns. At half time the game was over. Pittsburgh made a bit of a statement as well. They clinched the division and home field. Much needed bye week for Pittsburgh to get healthy. No word yet if Aaron Smith will be playing in the ball game. I figure Polamalu will be playing in the football game. In any case both teams last wins were statements. Both teams looked their best vs their opponents. It will for sure be the game of the week.

As a Steelers fan of course I'm picking Pittsburgh. I think they are better defensively and offensively. The keys to victory for Pittsburgh is as follows: Defense don't allow Ravens to have a ground game. If they do that than they will do ok as long as they don't give them free yards meaning penalties. I think the defense can handle Flacco. Ravens side: Be in Roethlisberger's face all game long. Figure their D can handle the rush game unfortunately. Offensively the Steelers would like to have an effective rushing game. Protect Roethlisberger and give him time to throw the football. Do that than I'm certain the Steelers will win the football game. Ravens offensively....running game wouldn't hurt vs the Steelers. If they get a running game and win the battle of time of possession that will give them their best chance to win the football game.

Again I'm picking the Steelers in this one. Should be a classic. Surprised??SurprisedDon't be........STAY JEALOUS!!Cool

Well put ATKOOL, to me most of what you have previewed looks to be objective. If being a Steelers fan, though you probabbly didn't actually watch the Ravens every play, every game thouroughly during the season. I can admit the same for the Steelers.
I would disagree that the Ravens looked like a whole different team, come on man. The Ravens have been playing championship football all year.
Both teams are pretty healthy, though I would give the edge to the Ravens, the Steelers have Dion Branch hurting and two of thier 3 Tight ends a little banged up. Polamalu could be a very detrimetal injury problem as well, though it looks like he will play.
Your recap adds up to be a great game between the Ravens and The Steelers. I will have to predict a different outcome. The Ravens have more weapons and more experience, I pick the Ravens this time around.

Puulleezzee  ..bloodpee..(bloodpee..what the F is...nevermind)

What loser team do you like.
Fact - everyone who is a football fan IS looking forward to this best matchup of this weekend.
Fact - It is the best rivalry in football, now and over the last 4 or so years.
Fact - Best teams in the league are in order...(UH..can barely type it...)  Pats...then Steelers..then Ravens.
at  THIS POINT IN TIME IN THE LEAGUE..everyone else, yes, even the Falcons until the do something...are a step lower.
This does not mean those team will run through the playoffs or can't be vulnerable on a particular day..but they clearly are the best three.  Jets?? if any fans are duped by the blowhard Ryan..please..they can lick my balls..they have done NOTHING yet and they have been about the luckiest team in the league over the last year.

Read them edits...you limp rated poster..

This should be a tremendous matchup! For the average fan, you might want to turn the sound
down as you might not want to hear  to hear the grunts, the shoulder to
shoulder hits and the grunts from the trenches as these two teams go at it.

On the other hand, we might not have to as this game might be a runaway by
either team. I would request from teams the former.

Enjoy.

Sorry about the strikethrough on that last one, i think it is a formatting thing.  Apparently cbssports.com is as bad at coding their site as you are at writing.

Ravens vs Steelers divisional playoff preview

Going into the football game the Ravens blew out the . (unclear, please revise). I'm somewhat surprised by it and in some way I'm not as well. I didn't see that me ("many"?) turnovers happening. The Ravens are ready to play. They looked like a whole different football team when they were at Arrowhead. I was rooting for the Chiefs and it was hard to watch. The Chiefs were one of the best at not giving up the football. Obviously (insert comma) the reason is because they didn't face a football team like the Ravens. They looked like they were making a statement. (remove period) A statement to all football teams and that is (insert dash or revise otherwise for coherence) "don't sleep on them us." (quote marks added)  They are no pushover by any means. The game against Pittsburgh Saturday may be the best matchup yet. Both teams ended the season with identical records. Steelers won the division due to tiebreaker of division record.

Revise and resubmit.  This paragraph is an improvement over the first, grammatically.
