The reason pre FA is in the title: NFL has yet to have free agency. These predictions are before anybody makes that big move to help their team get to the playoffs. I know haters will join on here and say I was wrong after A team made the playoffs after getting a top free agent to help them get there. This is my pre free agency "Who's goin to the playoffs" thread. All haters, critics, friends, and fans are welcome.

The question everyone asks during the off-season is "who is goin to the playoffs." That is why I'm here folks.....to give you the answers. So plz when you're done reading my predictions you can leave a comment, give us your predictions, and enjoy my art. Thank you!!

The better question is "who is not making the playoffs?"
AFC
Bills-HAHA! This may be a shocker to some, but I have Bills finishing 3rd in the AFC East. Of course, they arn't making the playoffs.
Dolphins-Their offense was through the running game. 2 FAs could not return. I don't like Dolphins chances.
Titans-rebuilding mode along with the fact other three teams in division had better drafts in my opinion.
Texans-everyone's beloved darkhorse will again fail to get to the postseason.
Jaguars-You proved me wrong last year, but until you beat the Colts to win the division.....I don't see it happening.
Broncos-I'm hearing chants "Tebow" to end the season. Unfortunately, it won't be in the playoffs.
Raiders-I have them finishing last in their division.
Chiefs-I was happy for the team's success last season. I figure SD will find a way to get back on track to the playoffs.
Bengals-too many questions with the team along with Browns being a better football team.
Browns-a year or 2 away from taking Ravens spot.

NFC
Skins-Big Al making too much dough along with McNabb wanting out. Too many question marks.
Eagles-Teams figured out how to defend Vick. The team will finish 3rd.
Falcons-most over-rated team in the league last year. Gave up too much to get Jones.
Panthers-Could get the number 1 pick next year.
Seahawks-I was shocked they won the division. Division won't be that bad next year.
Cardinals-this team along with 49ers are most of the reason I put pre FA in the title. A quarterback addition could get a division title.
49ers-read Cardinals.
Vikings-Ponder isn't enough. Rice may be gone as well along with Pat Williams.
Bears-prove me wrong
Lions-Have them finishing 2nd......just missed. Next year for sure.

"Who is making the playoffs?"
AFC
Patriots-No one beats them at home.....during the regular season.
Steelers-doubters proved wrong last year. This year will be the same. Only difference.....Super Bowl belongs to Pittsburgh! #7!
Colts-They make the playoffs, I believe 11 straight x.
Chargers-depends on V-Jax return or replacement.
Jets-Didn't make AFC championship 2 straight years for nothing.
Ravens-How far they go depends on their run game.

NFC
Cowboys-4th place schedule along with good draft.
Packers-unless serious injury........
Saints-After that draft....how can you bet against them?
Rams-Shoulda won the division last year.
Giants-D-Jax ain't gonna get that lucky....again.
Bucs-Solid draft......team is only gonna get better.

Surprised??SurprisedDon't be..........STAY JEALOUS!!Cool

Pre FA 'Who's goin to the playoffs?' thread

the phins will sign ronnie and ronnie wants to come back they are solid there especially with thomas
What if a championship contender tries to snag him? Such as the Colts or the Patriots. Colts may want to add depth cuz of the injury concerns at the position they have had over the years. Patriots could definately use Ronnie's services. Do you think he would turn down an oppurtunity to play for a playoff team for the Dolphins? Ike Taylor wants to come back to the Steelers, but he wants money to return. Who says some team might not over pay him?

They will also prolly pick up bush or williams and let ricky go along with sheets
Picking up this guy or that guy is easy to say, but it isn't that easy. Other teams need backs as well and willing to overpay them.

That is my prediction, there is no way in hell that they will finished behind buffalo
After Pittsburgh won the Super Bowl in 2008 I had the same mindset. Bengals(4 wins the previous year overall) would sweep the AFC North division, win it, and go to the playoffs. Did anyone see a team with a losing record making the playoffs? No!

Yes, buffalo is looking better but miami will have a top 5 defense along with a lot better run game
Obviously going by yardage per game. Top defense in that category along with top offense in that category couldn't get in the playoffs last year. As far as the running game goes.....21st.....a team driven by the running game. Better get better.

I believe miami will get a wild card and yes i do think the pats and jets will also make it
So you are telling me the Dolphins are gonna win more games than Ravens or Steelers. That is what it would require to make the playoffs next year. 2 wildcard teams from the same division. I just don't see that fantasy happening.

As long as miami can win at home this year they will be just fine
Everyone knows they couldn't do that last year.

Not with just backs but there o line. They got key players now to step up and they are all healthy so far. I believe miami will get a wild card and yes i do think the pats and jets will also make it. I could be wrong but that division is way to stacked for them not to. As long as miami can win at home this year they will be just fine.

ahhaahahahahhaahahahah thats funny
I'm creating emotions. Yippee!!

Do you honestly think that the phins wouldn't end up signing brown back
Who knows?

Let me start out by saying the way it looks now......Bills have the better offense. Again just opinion. Fitz>Henne, Fins offensive line>Bills, right now it looks as if Bills have the better running game, since they have the better quarterback they have the better passing game. Defense....I have no idea for either. I liked Bills draft better o. Who knows? This is pre FA! I don't know if they are gonna resign him back or not. I know he is a big part in their offense and they need to resign him.

I think the Chiefs snuck up on people last year, so I think your prediction of the Chargers taking the Western Division seems warranted. The others in the AFC shouldn't be a stretch and you don't like the Texans, and living here, even though they had a very good draft, I still think they may be a year away. The Colts always look vulnerable, but they always find a way to win the division.

I don't think the Cowboys had a good draft...maybe average...the Demarco Murray pick is a puzzler, and they didn't get any defensive line or safety help. I don't want to see Alan Ball playing safety again with Orlando Scandrick, do you? The Bucaneers will be a lot better...Josh Freeman is going to be a star and Mike Williams will improve from last year, plus Legarrette Blount is a beast at RB...if he learns to catch the ball, the Bucs will be a force.

No other arguments with the NFC...same as my picks...still think yo uare being generous to the Cowboys. If they don't upgrade their secondary at free agent time, it may be a long season.

o and 4th in division, that shows how much you no about football man. Bills will be last again for the 5th straight seasons. Thanks for your humor though its great. Sanchez will probably end up getting hurt this year and everyone will see that the jets will still suck without him. He is a qb way overrated and just has a very good team to carry him. I believe they will make it to the playoffs but the pats no. I just have that feeling. Pats bein to strong to long we will figure out a way to cream them again.

ahhaahahahahhaahahahah thats funny, Do you honestly think that the phins wouldn't end up signing brown back. Please man he is a major role in that offense. Ricky yes, he will not return next year that is why they draft thomas. Gates will do very well for them as well. Our oline was beat up and hurt all year long. This year we are all healthy so far of course but it can't get worse than it did last year. Adding pouncey to the o-line. Getting by the pats will be a bit of a struggle but however you forgot only two years ago we owned that divison buddy, and we will again so have a nice day

Pre FA 'Who's goin to the playoffs?' thread

Ho-hum, ho-hum.  Just more typical, predictable predictions in the AFC
One of the teams didn't make the playoffs last season so....

I think it's the Phins /Texans in the AFC
Texans are suppose to make it every year and it never happens. I'll continue to bring it up until they prove me wrong. I think the Dolphins are in a terrible position. They'd have to make it via wildcard. Pats don't lose at home. That is 8 wins right there. They got the division. Jets and Ravens should make it shouldn't they? Dolphins have no running back and barely even got a passing game.

Rams in the NFC
I for one picked them to go last year late. I picked 49ers like everyone else. They failed to get it done. I picked them this year o.

The Phins got the playmakers they need on offense
Didn't hear much about their draft. Must not have been that good. Still got running backs to resign or sign.

The Texans need just "some" defense to win more games and I think they got that in the draft
I hope they prove me wrong.

The Colts and Jets are overrated
I think the Colts are, but you can't argue the fact they are a playoff team. They made it 11 straight years. Jets made the AFC championship 2 straight years. Jets are at question right now. One of the reasons I put pre FA on the title. They have so many FAs they got to resign such as Holmes, Cromartie, Edwards, ect.

The Cowboys find ways to lose every year
They found ways to win late last year without their quarterback. I like them with a 4th place schedule.

The Bucs are overrated because they had a very easy schedule last year
You have a right to your opinion. I think the Bucs can take a wildcard spot.

They will not outplay the Saints and Falcs
Falcons only beat the team by less than a TD both times last season. Bucs had a good draft. They are only gonna get better in my opinion. We will have to wait and see how it plays out. Bucs beat the Saints last year and the year of the Super Bowl run. I think Saints will win the division oh.

Pre FA 'Who's goin to the playoffs?' thread

They will make playoffs will not win there division though
That requires having a better record than Steelers and/or Ravens, also Pats and/or Jets.

I see the Dolphins finishing 4th place in the division.

This year we will meet the jets in the afc tittle game
You are saying Jets will win the division or get wildcard. Is Pats not goin to the playoffs? LOL! That would also require beating teams like Colts and others.

. They have to much at stake this year not to go. With there additions last year with marshall and this year i believe they have more then enough talent to go
Marshall addition isn't gonna get the team over the top when they don't have a top running back. They don't have Brown or Williams under contract. They have to resign or sign a running back during the offseason. Probably 2....

Yes, our qb sucked last year we had no line and no running
What do you suspect they do about that? No running game with running backs possibly leaving. Who do you think they will sign in FA?

We have got that fixed and plus we will prolly end up bring in another qb to give henne a fight for the num 1 seat for the team
Who is the starting running back than??

How can they be so overrated? They always found a way to win
Didn't the team get blown out on homefield? In the playoffs with the lights on bright couldn't live up to the expectations. #1 seed my butt!

This year they will be a lot tougher
So won't there schedule. Division competition as well. 3 teams got 10 wins! 2 of those had great drafts. 1 of them traded their picks for Jones. Their schedule was easier before. Now it is tougher.

I would say either the eagles falcons or packers take the nfc this year
Eagles and Falcons are over-rated. Teams figured out Vick. Vikings beat the Eagles with a no name quarterback who was a 3rd string with Vick starting. Falcons didn't address defensive side of the ball. Saints are better than them. Packers won't repeat.

all i have to say in go fins. They will make playoffs will not win there division though. This year we will meet the jets in the afc tittle game. Ho-hum, ho-hum.  Just more typical, predictable predictions in the AFC.  There's always 1-2 surprise teams in each conference.  Nobody predicted the Bears, Chiefs and Seahawks to make it last year.  Could make arguments for the Eagles and Steelers too.  I think it's the Phins /Texans in the AFC, Rams in the NFC.  The Phins got the playmakers they need on offense.  The Texans need just "some" defense to win more games and I think they got that in the draft.  The Rams finally got some targets for Bradford.  The Colts and Jets are overrated.  The Cowboys find ways to lose every year.  The Bucs are overrated because they had a very easy schedule last year.  They will not outplay the Saints and Falcs.
