LSU-Alabama, the sequel

Sources tell me tonight that it's official: LSU and Alabama will meet again in New Orleans in the BCS title game.  It still remains to be seen whether or not TCU automatically qualifies for a BCS berth (I'm not optimistic).

That would put Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl, against Stanford (an automatic qualifier).

The Orange will have Clemson facing West Virginia.

The Sugar will feature Michigan against Virginia Tech.

Other bowl matchups are starting to leak out as well.  Keep checking our bowl page for the latest.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

The biggest joke in all the bowl games is the following:

V A G I N A TECH in the Sugar Bowl after getting the S H I T beat out of them;

and BOISE STATE only getting an invite to the Las Vegas Bowl against Arizona State!!

Com on - I'm an avid Alabama fan, but Boise State was the team that got screwed this year.Frown

And lets just ignore the rest of the season, including all the other wins, the fact that OSU lost in double overtime on the road, that Alabama lost at home, that the rest of 'Bama's schedule was light this year (no fault of theirs), and the fact that THEY COULDN'T EVEN WIN THEIR DIVISION, LET ALONE THEIR CONFERENCE.  Sure SEC is the best conference, but they actually don't even get to prove it this year.

Great logic moron. LSU didn't beat Alabama, Alabama gave that game away by missing four out of six field goals.  If Alabama makes even ONE of the three missed in the first half, people wouldn't even be talking about OSU. OSU, who by the way lost to an Iowa State team who BARELY won just THREE of their own conference games. OSU would have had NO chance against Alabama, LSU, Arkansas, Georgia, or probably even VANDERBILT. OSU's conference plays NO defense.  What a joke!

THE WHO CARES BOWL

Outside of Alerbamer & Lousetana who is going to bother this boring game. hopefully there will be re-runs of Seinfeld MASH to watch.
The National Championship should be played by the best teams in 2 different conferences. Not 2 teams from a weak conference

Why does Okla St feel they should have jumped Stanford??????????    To me, Stanford was the one getting the short end of the stick.  They were ahead of Okla St two weeks ago, beat Notre Dame while Okla St was idle, and got jumpd by Okla St?    Explain that to me.  It was the media trying to give them the national championship game selection.

As a Bama fan, I really wish we had a plus one system.  How great would it be for Bama and Okla State having to have a play in game.  Wow, that would be a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!

I respect Oklahoma State and Coach Gundy and know they will do well in their bowl game.   Okla State did not tumble as far in the polls when they lost to Iowa State an average team as Arkansas.  They were 10-1 and lost to LSU and tumbled way down in the polls.

Look at the BCS, th SEC had 4 teams in the top 8 or 9.  Wow!    People don't realize the grind week in an week out in the SEC.  Sure the Big 12 is an excellent conference too.

Roll Tide

You're obviously a fan of the pansy Pac 10 or Big 12.  There is a reason why the SEC has dominated over the last few years, the SEC is clearly where the best football is played. NO DOUBT about, get over it. ROLL TIDE!!!

OSU deserved a shot, Bama already had theirs... again BCS is a scam. I can just see some senator in Okie writing the bill tonight, BCS may indeed bring their own demise over such a slanted decision.
