LSU-Alabama, the sequel

Sources tell me tonight that it's official: LSU and Alabama will meet again in New Orleans in the BCS title game.  It still remains to be seen whether or not TCU automatically qualifies for a BCS berth (I'm not optimistic).

That would put Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl, against Stanford (an automatic qualifier).

The Orange will have Clemson facing West Virginia.

The Sugar will feature Michigan against Virginia Tech.

Other bowl matchups are starting to leak out as well.  Keep checking our bowl page for the latest.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

The Big 10--where reading is not optional.

The SEC--where reading is a 400 level class.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

LSU deserved to play a NATIONAL game for a MNC, not a rigged regional game.  Alabama's #2 ranking is based on opinion and media bias, not facts.  NO WAY I watch this sad excuse of a game.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

It's  all good     WoW!  Bama gets another chance after missing 4 field goals to beat LSU.  OSU gets no chance because 18-22 yr olds do not know how to deal with death.

BCS knows how to handle their system.

Here is how I am going to deal with their system.  Grats Tigers, your the champs.  lol.

I am not watching the games.  I'm done.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

1. ALL CONFERENCE CHAMPS QUALIFY FOR PLAYOFFS AND A NUMBER OF WILD CARDS BUT IT IS ALL BY RECORD
YOU CANNOT PICK A 2 LOSS TEAM OVER A 1 LOSS TEAM NO MATTER WHAT.
THE OTHER WAY
2. IS HAVE THE TOP 16 TEAMS(AND DO AWAY WITH SOS)
BUT NO MATTER WHICH WAY THE IMPORTANT THINGS ARE:
1. LEAVE OUT NO CONFERENCE (ANY TEAM IN DIV1 CAN MAKE IT TO BCS IF RECORD SHOWS SO)
2. AND no matter WHAT  DO NOT LET HUMANS SEED THE 16 TEAMS CAUSE THEN AGAIN IT IS RIGGED
ALL 16 TEAMS IN HAT 1ST 2 DRAWN PLAY EACH OTHER AND ETC
THEN 8 TEAMS LEFT 8 TEAMS IN A HAT 1ST 2 DRAWN PLAY EACH OTHER ETC
THEN 4 TEAMS LEFT 4 TEAMS IN A HAT 1ST 2 DRAWN PLAY EACH OTHER
THEN 2 WINNERS PLAY FOR A TRUE CHAMPIONSHIP
THANKS

Nope, for once the BCS got it right (with the exception of the Sugar Bowl).  There will never be a playoff based on how football scheduling works.  It should only be a 4-team playoff, not a 16 team playoff based on the quality of teams you'd let in.  Whether you like it or not, Bama/LSU is the right matchup, they're the two best teams.  The game they had was a spectacular chess match where one mistake would cost you that game and that's what happened.  As far as Boise St. in the national title game, all I can say is that's cute.  I'd give the nod to Ok. St. a thousand times before Boise.  At least Ok. St. has beaten more than one ranked team this season.  Good job beating Georgia while they were figuring things out.

Bitter much? Maybe if Ok State didn't lose to a 6-loss team in Week 11, they'd be #2. Oh...and the sports writers who vote are spread all over the country...and they're not even part of the BCS. People who don't know diddly squat about football should just watch Dancing With The Stars, and leave the sports to others.

If the BCS is so bad...drop football from your athletics. If you feel so wronged, don't come back for more next season.

The Redneck Bowl....not smart enough to play offense...so they put everybody on defense.
