LSU-Alabama, the sequel

Sources tell me tonight that it's official: LSU and Alabama will meet again in New Orleans in the BCS title game. It still remains to be seen whether or not TCU automatically qualifies for a BCS berth (I'm not optimistic).

That would put Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl, against Stanford (an automatic qualifier).

The Orange will have Clemson facing West Virginia.

The Sugar will feature Michigan against Virginia Tech.

Other bowl matchups are starting to leak out as well. Keep checking our bowl page for the latest.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

The only way we can make our voices heard that we are sick of the crap they put out called the BCS is to not watch. DO NOT WATCH! I guarantee we will have a playoff system instantly if the ratings went down. The only bowl I have watched since this piece of crap system came out was the one my team was in. If everyone only watched their team the system would change yesterday.

Hey legere864,
your comments make the most sense of the one I've seen thus far. What do you expect, the crooked A^%$# SEC gets their way once again. This is what stinks about this whole BCS. IT's GARBAGE,man! The whole thing really stinks. I remember in 2007 when #2 Michigan lost to then #1 Ohio State in Columbus 42-39. Michigan lost on the road, this year Alabama loses on their field in a game where the entire country go to watch paint dry and 5 field goals! Would they allow to Big Ten teams play a rematch? Hell no!! Of course up jumps another SEC team (Florida) who now is in an abyss of problems of their own! Think about it,man. They win 2 NC's in a matter of a few years, then all of a sudden, Meyer decides to bail. I wonder why?

They (the NCAA) should just give an automatic NC berth to the winner of the SEC for the next 5 years, then make the rest of the college football world pray they get a chance to play the rest of the money grubbing crooked SEC all the red carpet treatment they deserve! Makes me want to puke when I think how disgusting the whole thing is!! I'll tell you something, I thought the old system sucked, but they have managed to make this one suck even more!! Get a playoff, man! This BS doesn't work. On top of that, it's so one-sided for a bunch of semi-pro football players posing as full-time student athletes.
I feel for the student athletes at Stanford, a top notch academic/athletic school. I also feel bad for Oklahoma State, who probably hasn't played for a NC ever. The BCS is just plain BS,period.
LSU-Alabama, the sequel

Everyone has their own opinion but in the end the two best teams end up in the BIG GAME! Clearly voters felt that BAMA deserved a chance to redeem themselves. They can do it! They just made a few costly mistakes that I am sure Coach Saban will do his best to make sure do not happen again!!!! BAMA does indeed deserve to be in the National Championship game!!! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!

My opinion. Oklahoma State Cowboys are the National Champs. SEC will not play them. Well done voters, the rest of the Nation just did.

OSU will play a nice little team from Cali, but, we all know. :)

No way I watch this peice of crap they call a Championship game and I hope I'm not alone in this thinking. Sitting here listening to Saban and ESPN spew their defense of playing in this game makes me hate college football. By the way what Conference did Bama win?? Oh that's right they didn't even win their freakin conference.

this sport is such a sham...we're all suckers for even watching this BCS crap. The only sport on earth where you have a championship game and champion determined by a computer and polls instead of on the field.
