LSU-Alabama, the sequel

Sources tell me tonight that it's official: LSU and Alabama will meet again in New Orleans in the BCS title game.  It still remains to be seen whether or not TCU automatically qualifies for a BCS berth (I'm not optimistic).

That would put Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl, against Stanford (an automatic qualifier).

The Orange will have Clemson facing West Virginia.

The Sugar will feature Michigan against Virginia Tech.

Other bowl matchups are starting to leak out as well.  Keep checking our bowl page for the latest.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

Ironically, the brain dead always like to cry about the evil "computers", and how machines muck it all up. It wasn't the "machines" that sunk OSU. The computers loved them. It was those "intelligent" and wonderful human beings that torpedoed the Cowboys. Yep, all of those "all knowing" and unbiased humans. If the BCS was setup like it should have been, human voters would have had nothing to do with it. Whenever you have human voters, you have bias. ALL human voters are biased.

THE B_S should be broken up using RICO statutes.  Just like the mafia, they are a crime organization.
I love college football but, VOTING on who plays in the "CHAMPIONSHIP" is a joke regardless of who plays in the game.
This year was easy. I called LSU in the title game in Sept. (even with as many as 2 losses)  Follow the money!
The, CHAMPIONSHIP game is in New Orleans.  Couldn't see this coming, IM SHOCKED!  C MON MAN!
Time for a playoff!!

For those who say, "OSU did it to themselves when they lost to ISU", what, you're saying that the claim made by the BCS, that "Every game matters" is false?

Fact is, Oklahoma State played an overwhelmingly superior schedule to Bama's, and has the same record. So which is it? Is it "every game matters" or "only the one game you lost matters"?

T Boone Pickens' threat to investigate backfired.  It probably made enough people mad to hold their ground.  You can buy a stadium,  a coach, and some ugly new halloween jerseys, but you can't by everyone off.

Surprisingly Bama has a 25-9 record against LSU in Baton Rouge. Home field has never meant anything between these two.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

I find it amusing how there's so much arguing and vitrol all to decide who gets the right to lose to LSU in the National Championship game.  Anyway, don't see much point to this game.  Alabama couldn't win in Tuscaloosa against LSU, what chance do they have in New Orleans?

They lost to Iowa State. They did it to themselves. Period. End of story. Go cry to somebody who cares.

Sources????

WTF???..The Coaches Poll is out.  The Harrison Poll is out.  The computer rankings are all out.  One needs to only crunch the numbers themselves to see that Alabama topped Oklahoma St.  Anyone will decent math skills could have known this HOURS ago.  Breaking News my @ss.  Way to "sell" it sportsline.
