Sources tell me tonight that it's official: LSU and Alabama will meet again in New Orleans in the BCS title game. It still remains to be seen whether or not TCU automatically qualifies for a BCS berth (I'm not optimistic).
That would put Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl, against Stanford (an automatic qualifier).
The Orange will have Clemson facing West Virginia.
The Sugar will feature Michigan against Virginia Tech.
Other bowl matchups are starting to leak out as well. Keep checking our bowl page for the latest.

LSU-Alabama, the sequelA source should have to tell you that UAT will be in the NC game. Just look at the polls & do your own math:
Coaches poll has the tide @ #2 (so does the AP, but the AP doesn't count toward BCS standings). The Sagarin ratings released early Sunday had Alabama No. 2 and Oklahoma State No. 3. The Harris poll is supposed to have the tide @ #2 (The coaches' poll and the Harris poll count for two-thirds of a team's BCS score). Might as well just confirm it as a fact that OSU got left out. (the OU win didn't move them up in the polls). OSU definitely had a more impressive season than the tide, but I personally think that the mullets in T-town would beat OSU head-to-head & will definitely put up a better fight against LSwho.   ; |

LSU-Alabama, the sequeleveryone can be mad but this situating NEEDED to happen before anything would be changed. The BCS has been dodging major bullets that last few years and that everything just fell in place for 1 and 2 seeds.

LSU-Alabama, the sequelIt's really simple. If this is true, I won't be watching the title game. I already saw this match up, and it sucked. This is total crap.

LSU-Alabama, the sequelYawn...won't be watching. When's the game, mid-January?It exists, but you must sleep through that as well. But being a Notre Dame fan, you probably haven't seen a game on New Years in a while. |

LSU-Alabama, the sequelMoney speaks louder than these post. Don't watch the game. Produce the lowest rating possible and put a hurt on the decision makers wallet.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel"Why not be silent and have others think your a fool rather than open your mouth and prove it"
The BCS is irrelevant..... too many blunders in the past and this takes the cake for me. (provided this is true) I will not watch an irrelevant game and will not support any advertisers who participate in the BCS system that supports this. Don't care what others do but my $$$ talks in this case - we need a playoff....... |

LSU-Alabama, the sequelWell in that train of thought the playoffs prove nothing! If a team loses to someone in regular season, then lose in playoffs they proved nothing! |
