LSU-Alabama, the sequel

Sources tell me tonight that it's official: LSU and Alabama will meet again in New Orleans in the BCS title game.  It still remains to be seen whether or not TCU automatically qualifies for a BCS berth (I'm not optimistic).

That would put Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl, against Stanford (an automatic qualifier).

The Orange will have Clemson facing West Virginia.

The Sugar will feature Michigan against Virginia Tech.

Other bowl matchups are starting to leak out as well.  Keep checking our bowl page for the latest.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

Well in that train of thought the playoffs prove nothing! If a team loses to someone in regular season, then lose in playoffs they proved nothing!

BULLSHIT.

Oklahoma State had a FAR BETTER RESUME. How can you POSSIBLY put Alabama infront of Oklahoma State?

The system is broken. This is an OUTRAGE.

Wow. Holy shit.

5-0 vs ranked teams, conference champs.

And no NCG? For a team that cant even win their own division and is 2-1 vs ranked teams?

SICK. JUST SICK.

DEATH TO THE BCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Utterly ridiculous system. LSU has to win an extra game just to play a team they already beat on that team's home field? A team (Alabama) that did not win their conference SHOULD NOT BE PLAYING FOR A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Alabama is being rewarded for losing to LSU and LSU has to win more games for being better. Just like when FSU had to play Florida for the championship after beating them in the regular season, LSU has to beat a team twice. Moronic.

The BCS is really not that complicated.  You want to play in the National Championship Game?  It's really, really simple: Don't lose to Iowa State.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

There's only one thing worse than the BCS- NO... there's NOTHING worse than the BCS!  I was gonna watch only one more college game this season- and that'd be the only other one that matters out of the 35 ridiculous, exhibition- crap filled, bs- games... and that was the Championship.  NOW, I won't watch that either. I am looking forward to Alabama winning at the AP making it yet another SPLIT champion in THE stupidest sport in the history of the earth.
