LSU-Alabama, the sequel

Sources tell me tonight that it's official: LSU and Alabama will meet again in New Orleans in the BCS title game.  It still remains to be seen whether or not TCU automatically qualifies for a BCS berth (I'm not optimistic).

That would put Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl, against Stanford (an automatic qualifier).

The Orange will have Clemson facing West Virginia.

The Sugar will feature Michigan against Virginia Tech.

Other bowl matchups are starting to leak out as well.  Keep checking our bowl page for the latest.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel

Just a reminder: this is not the National Championship Game.  This is the BCS Title Game.  And yes, there is a difference.

Ok - the BCS has once again gotten it wrong except where their wallets are concerned? Until we get a playoff I'm done bothering with the BCS - its manipulated and is only concerned with how much money a schools reputation will bring in and nothing to do with true competition.
Congrats to LSU and Alabama - you've both already lost in a farce of a National Championship/SEC Rehash. I sincerely hope CSPAN has higher ratings than this game does.

This is really easy. If you are a fan of the matchups and the National Championship game and the BCS in general, and like the fact Michigan gets in over much more deserving teams, then go to the presenting sponsor of the BCS, which I believe is ALLSTATE. Go to their web page, click on contact us and tell them you would like to be their customer.
If you don't like the way things are, go and contact ALLSTATE and tell them you won't be their customer. This will do 1 clear thing. Hurt their wallet and things will change!
The BCS cares about only ONE thing!

The picks were made because of money even though the obvious KSU Boise State matchup is the right one.
Sorry KSU4life, you guys did get screwed by being left out of a BCS bowl game, but don't complain about BSU's situation.  They aren't eligible for a BCS game despite their #7 ranking.  They are not from an AQ conference, so for them to be eligible for a BCS bowl game they HAD to win their conference.  They didn't, TCU did that by beating BSU in their own house.  So while your boys probably deserve to be in the Sugar Bowl over UM or VTech, Boise got what they earned, a date with the PAC-12 #5 in Las Vegas for the MAACO Bowl. whatever the hell that is...

I don't really care anymore.  I'm about getting to the "Superstar" status - aka, "wise man on the mountain"; therefore, I will NOT post curses, I will not post about anything outside the SEC, but I shall certainly post about:

2 - the number of fingers when you hold up two fingers;
8 - the number of fingers if you're handicapped or have a mean dog;
34 - Herschel Walker's number (SEC! and Georgia DAWGS!);
0 - the number of women that would have me other than my wife; and
49 - the number not only one above 48, but the number 6 less than 55 (yes, I went to UGA, and I can add and subtract small numbers).

If we only work together, we can figure this out!  Please, let us love. Go SEC!

Looks like the SEC bashers have finally left the building...  I was just informed that OSU couldn't play in NC game anyway because it is not clear if Gundy was a man yet :-)  I know he went off in a rant professing to be a man, but I never got the confirmation memo LOL

Well, we wouldn't have had this match up if OK St hadn't lost to unranked Iowa St.  Go cry to them.

To make everyone happy, why don't they merge SEC East with NFL AFC; and SEC West with NFL NFC?  That way OSU can play Stanford for National Championship.  No then the bitching will be about why not Oregon.
