Mark Gottfried is on the board in 2012.

Torian Graham, one of the top juniors in the country, committed to North Carolina State on Monday.

Graham, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Word of God (N.C.), chose the Wolfpack over Kentucky, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Georgetown, UCLA, Xavier and others.

He is a fantastic scorer, demonstrating the entire package offensively. He can knock down mid-range shots, score in transition or finish at the rim with contact. Graham has the ability to drive past defenders and hit pull-up jumpers, leaners or floaters in the lane. He is extremely athletic and demonstrates great body control when running the fast break.

Graham will join a recruiting class that includes point guard Tyler Lewis, one of the most impressive passers in the nation. The two will form a dynamite backcourt in Raleigh.

Nice to see NCSU & Gottfried getting a shot in the arm.  Personally I like Gottfried and hope he keeps up the good work.   Graham should work well with Leslie and Lewis.  Good News.

yeah i gotta admit unless ncst/fsu/UMD or tech show up acc will be coming down to a 2 man race between unc n duke so hopefully state gets some guys in to make the rivarly a rivalry again and to add muscle to acc. its getting old hearing the biglest brag about how their 9th seed in the conference won the ncaa championship...

I'm glad to see all of this love for NC State and not the usual bashing of the fan base and of the administration.  I think that all tobacco road fans can agree that the ACC is a lot more exciting to watch when all four teams are competing.  Big time land for Gottfried, hopefully he can continue to recruit like this and possibly bring in another four or five star to team with Lewis and Graham.

I'm all for NC State getting back to playing good ball and making tournaments.  This is great for ACC basketball.  I think we are a long ways from having the Big4 back to being ranked due to Jeff Bzdelik at Wake.

I'm all for NCST getting back to national relevence.  The ACC has been down and it's mainly due to expansion.  Things have gotten quite watered down.

If the Pack and Wake could both get back in the mix that would do wonders for the conference.  Could you imagine the big 4 all being ranked?  Congrats.  Maybe this is good news for the Wolfpack.

Wow, not the response from most unc and duke fans. Hopefully we can get back to relevance and make tobacco road dominant once again.

This a Tarheel Fan that is agreeing with the Duke Fan. I hope the Pack come back and be ranked again. I would love for the Triangle war to come back again.

Here's one Duke fan hoping for a resurgence at NC State.  ACC basketball has lost some of its luster with the continued dominance of UNC and Duke.  I hope that the overall level of play at ACC schools improves, even if it means a few more conference losses for my Blue Devils!
