The NCAA has declared Ohio State freshman LaQuinton Ross a non-qualifier, a source confirmed to CBSSports.com on Monday. Consequently, the 6-foot-8 forward will not attend OSU this year. A source told CBSSports.com that Ross will "return home" to Mississippi, "take a class and retake the SAT."

CBSSports.com ranked Ross 13th in the Class of 2011.

The Buckeyes are still expected to be a consensus top-five team.

Bucks will just reload w/ some other blue chipper. They do have a top three recruiting class for this year. Love all the negative coming from others that is driven by jealousy. Makes winning and getting the best talent in the country that much sweeter. Go Bucks.

BuckBearcat: The facts speak for themselves in this case, and you related the facts very well. As a fellow Ohio State graduate with two sons also graduates of the law school, I am heavily vested in the school (maybe a bad choice of words there haha). There has always been jealousy of our highly successful university and sports programs, on so many levels. I find the haters of The Ohio State University comical and entertaining, so please keep writing the facts BuckBearcat and let the less fortunate choose to live in darkness.

Seriously where does CBS get the morons that write for them?  How can the kid be an Ohio State University freshman yet  he has never qualified or been enrolled at the Ohio State University?  I think I am going to have to put on my resume that I am a Harvard Grad student because I do want to go there but I have never been enrolled in a class.
