In March, the CBS Sports Network will air one big show in four parts, on two nights, on the best 16 college basketball teams in history.

They asked me to submit a ballot.

They asked Jeff Borzello, Jeff Goodman and Matt Norlander to do the same.

After a whole lot research and subsequent debate on Twitter, we finally filed our lists. Lots of you asked to see them. We decided to let you. So take a look and tell us what you think. And don't forget the the best team in this sport doesn't always win the national championship because that fact of life is reflected in our ballots. Teams in italics did not win national titles.

Kentucky in 1995-96 was absolutely ridiculous. (AP)

The longer we go without a team going buzzer to buzzer without a loss, the better 1975-76 Indiana looks for being the last team to accomplish the feat. (AP)

I'm really surprised that the 96 KY team isn't on the one ballot. 8 NBAers on that team. The underclassmen were enough to get Tubby Smith a championship, and they put 2008 Kansass on that ballot. Memphis was really better than them.

man what a garbage group of writers, they have the 99 duke team in there but not the 99 uconn team who beat them in the NC and only had two losses that year.

1991 UNLV should be #1.  I understand the who point shaving against Duke in the Final thing rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but as far as talent, they're the best ever.

2000 Michigan State Spartans won all 6 NCAA tournament games by more than 10 points. They should be on this list.

; 2008 Kansas... really? That was a great game against Memphis, but that team was hardly the 6th best ever.  Heck, I'd take     &
nbsp; the 2008 Memphis team over them.

Really? Why-they couldn't hit a free throw to save their friggin lives.

2008 National Champ Kansas Jayhawks...

Yep... count em' 3 guys on NBA rosters, one starter, 2 majorcontributors, one starter in the D league & one starter playing in Russia by choice. The 1952 Knasas team with Dean Smith & Clyde Lovellette could be in the mix too. Clyde is still the only player ever to lead the nation in scoring & win the NC in the same year. Also the 57' team that lost to North Carolina in triple overtime could be there too. They way they defeated Wilt Chamberlain was by playing "keep away." Now that's a real spectacle. Overall, these guys are far off on some, but pretty close on others.
After all, they're writers (sort of) and you gotta expect screw ups of some sort. The 91' UNLV team was a monster for sure-beat Duke in the NC by about 30. Maybe the worst beatdown the the Ch game ever. Same Duke team barely clipped them the next year & they were in several of these guys lists. Again, Coach Consonants & Duke getting the love that could just as well be shared. If they get a #1 this year again, it's probably fixed.

Good choice putting Kansas number 6, especially over UNC who they throttled in the final 4 the year before.
