Post-Valentine's and post-Clowneypalooza, where will the recruiting news come from? Highly likely the drama continues to stream in from everywhere.

- The media circus that was Jadeveon Clowney's announcement yesterday will likely continue according to Andy Staples.

- Arizona State received the verbal commitment of Upland (Calif.) wide receiver Kenny Lawler.

- Good list of news and notes on the state of Arkansas recruiting.

- Colorado added a late commit to the class of 2011 in wide receiver Tyler McCulloch.

- Did Auburn offer a scholarship to 14-year old quarterback David Sills?

- All-Name Team quarterback Vegas Harley enjoyed his visit to Florida this past weekend but he's made it clear to teams that he wants to play quarterback.

- Despite a top 10 class in 2011, have the Texas Longhorns lost their recruiting momentum in the Dallas area?

2/15 Recruiting Roundup

drdon, given the consideration that you are a "newby" here, let me reiterate for you that I was criticizing CBS recruiting related coverage and there was no Bama rant in my prior entry here.  It may become clear as you gain some experience on this site that over the top, great big lettering is for children generally when learning the alphabet.  All you wrote about was me, which clearly breaks my heart, and ignored the 2/15 recruiting topic altogether.  Good work!  lol!  oh and sniff, and boo-hoo!

2/15 Recruiting Roundup

This recruiting coverage on CBS really sucks, no offense there Bry; really Dodd continues to be the absolute worst but would allow no comments for his pathetic article on Clowney.  Really, how offensive can this man be?  And I notice you added nothing about Bama's commits for 2012 in this 2/15 update though it happened on 2/14.  When Dodd spoke of Spurrier and his "If Steve Spurrier is a lion in winter, South Carolina's coach is Lion King"?!  lol!  Now "Spur Dog" is challenging Nick Saban's recruiting because of Lattimore last year and Jadeveon, Spurrier is NCAA Dog??  LOL!  Did any of you ever see the movie based on Henry II of England called "The Lion in Winter"???   Let's talk pure sports, guys, and leave the drama and old movies out of this!  And AU probably did probably did offer a scholarship to a 14 year old, why not?  There is not an abundance of character down there in dustville (Auburn), from a coaching or player standpoint!  (BTW, Henry II was married to Eleanor of Acquitaine (French) and he kept her locked up because she was more influential than he.  (If there is a "Lion in Winter" in CFB, imho, it is Joe Pa.)  Horrible, overly selective writing.  Yea right, it might have been nice to have Clowney at Bama, but his academics may come into question, and Bama signed 4 DE's as well as the OL muster to make for impressive additions this coming season and into the future.  Meanwhile Sou. Carolina can gloat on its spectacular 5-4 SEC East Divisional Championship!  Hot Dog!
