Missouri has dipped into the state of Texas for a good deal of talent for years under Gary Pinkel and they went back to the well again this week, adding the commitments of Everman (Texas) linebacker Torrey Boozer and Cleburne (Texas) athlete Chaston Cuffe on Sunday and Monday, respectively.

"Missouri offered two or three weeks ago," Cuffee told PowerMizzou.com. "I thought it was the place for me. I'm willing to keep wearing the black and gold, and my parents were behind me 100 percent."

Cuffee held offers from North Texas, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder will come to Missouri and play safety but should line up at multiple positions all over the field for his high school team this upcoming season.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Boozer will head to Columbia as an outside linebacker and held offers from SMU, North Texas, Houston and Arizona.

"I committed to Missouri on Saturday," Boozer told the site. "That's the school I've wanted to go to. It wasn't just about football. It's a good academic school."

The two players are the fourth and fifth commitments for the Tigers' class of 2012. Boozer is the second linebacker for Mizzou and Cuffee the second defensive back in the class.
