When Lakewood (Ohio) offensive lineman Kyle Kalis decommitted from Ohio State following the resignation of Jim Tressel, many pegged archrival Michigan as the odds-on favorite to land the top 100 prospect. Sunday afternoon, Kalis ended speculation and made it public that he will be a Wolverine.

Why Michigan? "The coaches, recruiting class, feeling comfortable," Kalis told 247Sports.com.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder is ranked 61st overall in the class of 2012 by MaxPreps and is just the latest addition to an impressive recruiting class by new head coach Brady Hoke. Kalis is the son of former NFL offensive lineman Todd Kalis, who went to school at Arizona State and played for the Vikings, Steelers and Bengals during an eight-year career.

Kalis told MGoBlog.com that he would have committed to Michigan several weeks ago following his first official visit but that his coach told him to wait. Instead, he committed following his second unofficial visit to the school on Sunday and has already started recruiting for the school.

The addition of Kalis gives the Wolverines 19 commitments in the class of 2012 and their third Top 100 player. He is also the fifth offensive lineman to verbally pledge as Hoke overhauls the offense in Ann Arbor.

What does that have to do with what is going on right now??  You had your little claim to fame back then.  Your little insignificant school hasn't done anything since.  You can have your division II championships and what not but you're moment of upset bliss has been over for quite a while.  Quit now while you're ahead and stop showing your ignorance.

The smell is getting pretty ripe south of Michigan.....Once again pure jealousy. cant wait for aug 12  to see the NCAA LOWER THE AXE. id say loss of wins for 2008 and 2009 as will as your 2010. Three year bowl ban and god only knows how many scholies. You may of had Michigan the last 10 years because of cheating but Michigan will give it right back at you for the next 10.........GO BLUE

I can only assume that all common sense is as wasted on you since the word forfeit is over your head. A forfeit is a loss. So I think the same record books that reflect Michigan as the all-time series leader, will reflect an OSU loss just this past November! The same record books that show Michigan with more all-time wins, and the most of any college football program. The same books that show Michigan with a higher all-time winning percentage than your cheating Buckeyes. More National championships and more Big Ten championships, and so on. But this is where you will sharply come back with what parts of history don't count. Again, a common viewpoint of the mentally incompetent. But, please, don't stop now! Continue to demonstrate your ignorance and lack of knowledge through the continued use of profanity. It merely illustrates the level of desperation in an argument submitted by a person that has very little knowledge of the facts, or reality. I wait on the edge of my seat for what surely will be an incredibly intelligent and well-thought out response.

West..Hes a liar who is struggling to open a Chik Fil a in Akrons uptown district..I guess the other top getters are Waffle Haus and Perkins. Its funny how they talk days and streak...It will probably equal the total before TUOS actually is able to have 25 scholarships and compete in a bowl game. I guess beating Michigan was worth the Big D sized hammer about to fall...Look for an utter humiliation come Noght Time versus ND. Well morning, thats when Gameday goes nationwide right?

There is no need to mouth off like some 2nd rate chump. It is obvious you are a buckeye, and possibly like 13 years old. Grow up, watch and enjoy the games, and stop embarrasing yourself in a public forum. You do know what a forum is don't you?
